JAI HO going tax free in UP is helping the collections in the state as collections on the second Monday and Tuesday were better than the collections on the second Friday. In some cities the collections were even better than second Saturday. The film has been entertainment tax free since Sunday

The film may go tax free in some other states as well but its a bit too late in the day to alter the fate of the film and it's a bit irrelevant that a few states go tax free in the second week.

If all India was tax free then the second week could have added a couple of crore more but for a tax free status to really make a difference to a film which has limited appreciation it has to come from day one as business trends are all about initial and getting exemption in week two hardly changes the overall picture.
