Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the untitled Amitabh Bachchan-Farhan Akhtar starrer to be directed by Bejoy Nambiar will turn out just right.

The latest news on this project, that goes on the floor in October, is that it has gone into re-writing. Says a source, “Vinod has written the untitled film in collaboration with Abhijat Joshi. But he needed a further spin to the plot, that extra layer of zing which would take the tale notches above and now Bejoy is re-writing the script.”

Bejoy, however, clarifies that the film wasn’t being re-written but developed further. “Vinod and Abhijat have jointly written the screenplay. Vinod has asked me to do some additional writing for the script.” He is spending a lot of time with Vinod collaborating on the script. The Shaitan director can’t stop raving about his producer. “He is an institution. By simply spending time with him, I am learning so much. This chance to augment the screenplay is Godsent for me.”

“Mr Bachchan and Farhan are coming together for the first time since Lakshya. This time the equation between the two actors has to be perfect,” he adds.
