A recent role offer left Deepshikha Nagpal speechless. The actress, currently seen as Pam in Madhubala — Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, was asked if she would be comfortable playing stepmother to her real-life husband Kaishav Arora. Apparently, Kaishav was approached to play Abhay Kapoor (Pam’s stepson) in the show. Though things failed to materialise in the end, Deepshikha was approached and signed on in the mean time. As much as she loves to work with her husband, the actress admits that she would have refused to play his stepmother.

Says she, “I was asked if I would have been comfortable playing stepmother to Kaishav. Being an actor, I am expected to be able to play any given role, but would have avoided this one. I won’t be comfortable doing it.”
