Arunoday Singh is gearing up for a villainous turn in Vikram Bhatt’s upcoming supernatural thriller, Mr X. Mirror has learnt that the actor will be seen as a sinister strategist, a sly villain, who is a cross between The Joker and Hannibal Lecter.

The story begins with Emraan and Arunoday working together on a high-profile project but as the narrative progresses, the two go their separate ways and Arunoday’s character starts acquiring shades of grey. Eventually, he turns into a full-blown antagonist. Said a source,“Arunoday’s character is a sociopath who can seduce as easily as he can kill. He has worked really hard on his physique, but don’t expect a dramatic look. He will, at best, look like an aged version of himself.”

When contacted, Arunoday confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I play the villain in Mr.X. I’m an alpha-predator of sorts, who’s charming and sexy, but has a twisted brain. For him, good or bad isn’t an issue, it is all about plotting an intelligent killing.”

Quiz him if the character has supernatural powers like Emraan’s invisible man and he says, “He could, but I cannot reveal anything yet!”
