The schedule of the Singham sequel has undergone several changes in the last few months, but now lead actor Ajay Devgn has zeroed in on March 10 to start the shoot. The actor’s spokesperson confirmed the news saying, “Yes, film will go on floors on that day.”

Adds a source close to the development, “To ensure that he wraps up his Independence Day release on time, Ajay has instructed Prabhu Dheva to wrap up the film they are shooting together, Action Jackson, by the first week of March. The shoot was pushed forward after Prabhu Dheva got busy promoting R... Rajkumar last December. Ajay doesn’t want more delays.”

The film’s director, Rohit Shetty, was hoping to roll with Singham 2 by January, but he was sidetracked by Khatron Ke Khiladi. Rohit is hosting the fifth season of the reality TV show which has started in South Africa. According to the source, Rohit is shooting at breakneck speed and should be back in India by the first week of March to keep the deadline.

Meanwhile, to ensure that Bajirao Singham looks as commanding as ever now that he is a big city cop, Ajay has been working on his body and friends of the actor are raving about his physique.
