Abhay Deol is reportedly putting his house up for sale. Sources reveal that the actor is asking for around Rs 2.75 crore for his stylishly done-up studio apartment, located on the fourth floor of a residential complex near the Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple in Juhu. He’s presently staying in another residential building in Santacruz West.

According to a source, some industry folks have received messages from the actor asking if they could help in the sale of this property. “Abhay is eager to close the deal as soon as possible,” said our source.

Incidentally, the actor, who had acquired some land in Goa, has reportedly put plans of building a home there on hold. As our informer said, “It’s been a while since Abhay bought the land. He was contemplating making a plush villa, so that he could spend considerable time there when he isn’t shooting. But even those plans have been put on hold for now.”

Buzz is that the actor has been burdened with the loss of his maiden production venture, One By Two. While Abhay was unavailable for comment, his manager maintained, “His house is being done up, so he’s staying elsewhere in a rented apartment. He’ll move back after his house is ready. Work on his house in Goa is also underway. And as he has said, he’ll go there when it is ready.”

However, our source maintained that he had seen the text messages that suggested that Abhay is keen to sell his Juhu flat.
