Anurag Kashyap and Amitabh Bachchan have teamed up for the third time but now the two will share screen space for the first time. Both the filmmaker and the veteran actor are part of the cast of Bhootnath Returns and started shooting together on Wednesday.

 Mirror has it that Kashyap is playing a film director in the sequel which has Bachchan reprising the role of a benevolent ghost haunting a dilapidated bungalow.

 When contacted, Kashyap confirmed the news saying, "Yes I am shooting with Bachchan saab. I cannot reveal any other details.”

 The film’s producer Bhushan Kumar said, “We decided two days ago to rope in a real director to play one in the film. The sequence is integral to the story, so we approached Anurag Kashyap and he immediately gave us the dates.”

 Kashyap had earlier directed Bachchan in Murabba one of the four stories in the film Bombay Talkies and he is currently directing Bachchan on a fiction TV show that will soon go on air.
