Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma steal the show at Yuvraj Singh's wedding

Virat Kohli and Anushka
Sharma were clearly the scene stealers at Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech's
Hindu wedding ceremony at Siolim, Goa. The cricketer and his bride were
the centre of attraction, no doubt, but it was the Indian skipper and
his actress girlfriend who were widely followed by cameras throughout
the evening.
The couple took a flight together from Mumbai early on Friday. They attended the wedding, colour co-ordinated. While Virat looked dapper in a bandhgala, Anushka's anarkali with danglers stunned the guests.
The venue was decorated with flowers in white and gold, while the mandap - decorated in fresh white flowers - was a stark contrast to the blue sea in the background. The vows were exchanged against the sunset. After the ceremony, Virat and Anushka congratulated the newly-weds and we seen posing with them.
Apart from the cricketer and his ladylove, the baraat boasted of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Angad Bedi, Ashish Nehra, Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan and Rohit Sharma with his wife Ritika. After the rituals, Hazel and Yuvraj slipped into Western attire for the after-party that continued till the wee hours.

Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj
Singh has said that he won't be attending his son's wedding with
model-actress Hazel Keech on November 30 at a gurdwara near Fatehgarh
Sahib in Punjab. He won't be present at any of the wedding functions,
barring the mehndi, which will be at a hotel in Chandigarh on November
29.
“I'm against all this. I don't want to attend a wedding as it's happening at a dera. I'm a God-fearing person, but completely against any guru or sect. So the topic ends here, and what I have decided is my personal wish, which will remain unchanged,“ said Yograj.
The cricketer-turned-actor also said that he has nothing to discuss about the matter with his son. “Yuvi understands it well. And he knows what I detest,“ he added.
Although Yograj is excited about his son's wedding and will be staying at a hotel during the mehndi, he said that none of the other functions are on his mind. “Be it Delhi or Goa, I'm not going to any of those places. For the mehndi, I'm going to bless the newlyweds, and that's it.“
Sources say that the family is trying to tackle the situation, but Yograj is persistent and not changing his decision. The gurdwara wedding will see only limited invitees. Yograj had said that during his first meeting with Hazel, he handed over the keys of his home to her, asking her to take care of everything from now on.
Meanwhile, we hear that Indian cricketers are planning to have a dance session on the eve of the mehendi. “There are going to be some solo performances,“ a source said, adding, “All the players, particularly those close to Yuvi, are excited about the function.“

Yuvraj Singh and Hazel
Keech's upcoming nuptials have made a lot of people curious. Now, we
have learnt that Farah Khan is choreographing the couple's sangeet
ceremony, which will
be held in Delhi next month.
Earlier this month, Yuvraj had made a guest appearance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, where Farah is one of the judges. During the episode, Yuvi danced to Mahi Ve, a song that she had choreographed in Kal Ho Naa Ho. An impressed Farah had announced, “Main kasam khaati hoon ki Yuvraj ka sangeet main choreograph karungi.“ But while many thought it was a remark made in jest, the director says she was dead serious. Farah says, “I am meeting Yuvraj to discuss the sangeet ceremony's choreography.“
“Yuvraj is an old and dear friend, so it's not a professional engagement for me. He calls me his sister, so it's more like a gift,“ says Farah. Without divulging too many details about what she has planned, she says, “Whatever I plan will be in accordance with the wedding's theme.“
Sources say that the choreography will borrow elements from the lives of the couple, combining Bollywood and cricket.Even though Farah will choreograph the routines, she will not personally supervise the rehearsals. She tells us, “The functions are in Delhi, so it won't be possible for me to be there. But I will send my assistants who will stay with them in Chandigarh and Delhi. Of course, no one is as tough as me, so I'm sure they will go a little easy on the couple. I'm sure Yuvi and Hazel will like that!“
Hazel is a trained dancer who is well-versed in both Indian classical and western contemporary forms. So will Yuvraj be able to match steps with her? Farah says she has no doubts about the cricketer's dancing abilities. “Oh, Yuvi is a wonderful dancer! He is all natural. It will be fun,“ she tells us.
Farah recently also choreographed the sangeet of Sania Mirza's sister Anam, which had Salman Khan dancing to his hit Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai.

Yuvraj Singh's decision for a low-fat Punjabi wedding has nothing to do with demonetization, says father Yograj Singh

Dad Yograj hates ‘fizool kharch’, says will keep marriage a simple affair and that it has nothing to do with demonetization setback
Mohar Basu (MID-DAY; November 24, 2016)
Former sportsman, now an actor, but best known as star- cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s dad, Yograj Singh, is obviously on cloud nine as his son is set to tie the knot with girlfriend Hazel Keech on November 29 in Chandigarh.
Though unwilling to give out too many details, he does reveal that Yuvraj and Hazel had always fancied a simple wedding. A demonetization reference is inevitable, since it seems to have wreaked havoc at quite a few Indian weddings this season. Has it affected his son’s celebration too? Yograj says, “Demonetization has hit primarily those who have black money. It would’ve pinched us if we were doing something grand. We, as a family, have always believed in simplicity. In a country where a majority of the population lives in abject poverty, people should spend reasonably at weddings. It is better to make donations to charitable organisations on your wedding day, instead of wasting large amounts on lavish parties.”
Yograj says “Yuvraj does not want to do ‘fizool kharch’. The wedding will see a small number of 60 guests, which includes his son’s close friends, family and colleagues from the Indian cricket team. “We are holding the sangeet, mehendi and reception on the same day, followed by a gurudwara shaadi, after which we will take Hazel for ‘darshan’ of our guru Baba Deep Singh Ji.”
Though Yograj, himself divorced from Yuvraj’s mom, Shabnam, has no pearls of wisdom to offer his son, he hopes that Yuvraj builds a wall around his relationship with Hazel. “Marriage is about two people and there should be no scope for a third person. Relatives destroy relationships and I want these kids to know that they don’t have to let anyone have access to what they share. Hazel is a mature girl. She has grown up in a joint family, and all she wants from us is love. I was recently hospitalised, and she and Yuvraj were by my side all week. My family finally looks complete with Hazel!”
Yuvraj Singh-Hazel Keech to have a Sikh wedding in Chandigarh & a Bihari Hindu one in Goa?

While we know that cricketer Yuvraj Singh is getting married to actress Hazel Keech on November 30, here’s more dope on the nuptials.
The couple will wed twice. First at a gurudwara in Chandigarh, where the cricketer and his family as well as his guruji reside. In attendance, apart from their families and the guruji, some of Yuvi’s close friends are expected to be present. Says a source, “The Sikh wedding will be hosted by Yuvi’s family. The England vs India cricket match is happening then and the Indian cricket team will be invited to witness the saat pheras.”
Says a source, “After their Sikh marriage, the newlyweds and their families fly off to the Teso Waterfront on the Siolim Chapora Fort Road in North Goa. A Bihari Hindu wedding is being hosted by Hazel’s family at the open-air hall/waterfront deck overlooking the riverfront there. It’s a stunning location where the river meets the sea and was personally selected by Hazel. She has booked all seven luxurious air-con tents (rooms) at the boutique resort for family and friends. The wedding (it’s according to Bihari Hindu rites as Hazel’s mom is from that denomination) will be an intimate affair. Hazel has called a few close friends and apart from the two families, only friends will witness the wedding. The couple are deciding whether they want it to be a beach wedding or in the Riverfront hall.”
Finally, post-Goa, a grand reception will be held at a seven-star hotel in Delhi, which will have almost all the glitterati of India present. More than 800 people from all walks of society, including sportsmen, politicians and Bollywood actors have been invited for the lavish occasion.”
