WELCOME TO KARACHI dropped further on Tuesday. The first five day business of WELCOME TO KARACHI is as follows.
Paid Previews - 50,00,000
Friday - 1,45,00,000
Saturday 1,60,00,000
Sunday - 2,00,00,000
Monday - 75,00,000
Tuesday - 60,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 6,90,00,000

The film will gross around 8.5-9 crore nett for its lifetime business which is better than YOUNGISTAAN, RANGREZZ and AJAB GAZABB LOVE which all grossed in the 6.5-7 crore nett range.

WELCOME TO KARACHI had a poor weekend of 5.50 crore nett approx including paid previews. The weekend business of WELCOME TO KARACHI is as follows.
Paid Previews - 50,00,000
Friday - 1,45,00,000
Saturday 1,60,00,000
Sunday - 2,00,00,000
TOTAL - 5,55,00,000

The film fared poorly everywhere but was the best of the new releases followed by ISHQEDARRIYAAN which failed to reach even 50 lakhs nett. The other four releases - CHOR BAZAARI, CHAAR CUTTING, I LOVE DESI and P SE PM TAK - all failed to even hit 10 lakhs nett.

WELCOME TO KARACHI had a low first day grossing around 1.25-1.50 crore nett on day one. The collections from some circuits are as follows.
Mumbai 40-50 lakhs
Delhi/UP 28 lakhs
East Punjab 14 lakhs
Rajasthan 8.50 lakhs
CP Berar 6.50 lakhs
West Bengal - 4 lakhs

The film also grossed around 50 lakhs nett in paid previews. ISHQEDARRIYAAN was only other new release to manage a 10 lakh opening day collection.
