VEERE DI WEDDING maintained well in its second week as it collected 18.25 crore nett and took its two week total to 72.75 crore nett. The drop in week two was 66% which is good. The film is a HIT but it will drop in the third week but still should be able to cross the 75 crore nett mark. The appreciation has been limited to metros especially Delhi NCR but that is more than enough for this film. The film has crossed 18 crore nett in Delhi NCR which is 25% of the films total business coming from one city and its four satellite towns.

VEERE DI WEDDING is showing a decent trend on the weekdays in week two as it grossed a little over 1.50 crore nett on its second Tuesday and has taken its twelve day total to 69 crore nett plus. The two week business will be around 72 crore nett which is more than NEERJA, PINK and DEAR ZINDAGI.

The film has crossed the business of PAD MAN in Delhi/UP and East Punjab and will is also likely to beat RAID in these two circuits which was a 98 crore nett all India film and this is even though the film will just have a two week run due to the release of RACE 3.

VEERE DI WEDDING grossed 1.75 crore nett on its second Monday to stand at 67.75 crore nett after eleven days and the second week looks to be heading for a 18 crore nett second week which is a good total for this film. RACE 3 is coming on on Friday which will hit collections but even without Race 3 the film has almost exhausted its run as it has a limited audience like most urban films.

The film will be at around 72.50 crore nett after two weeks and if it gets a show or two at multiplexes then it could finish in the 75 crore nett vicinity which is a strong total and the third highest for a female driven film after TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS and RAAZI. The footfalls will be 60 lakh range and this maybe outside the top five for female drive films.

VEERE DI WEDDING had pretty good second weekend of 11.50 crore nett which has taken the ten day total of the film to 56 crore nett. The film failed to grow on its second Sunday as the film has not been appreciated by the family and mass audiences which take the Sunday collections higher.

Still it is found an audience with the urban youth especially females and that coupled with the good start is enough for the film to be a HIT. The numbers are far higher than anybody could have expected for the film and that probably includes the makers. The film has scored best in Delhi NCR while Maharashtra be it the centres in Mumbai circuit (except Mumbai city and Pune), Nizam/Andhra or CP Berar have not done well. East India is also low but that is sort of expected.

The drop in the second weekend compared to first weekend is 68% which is decent trending. The film has another four days to add the numbers before the release of RACE 3 when it will get very limited screen space.

VEERE DI WEDDING showed growth of around 55% on its second Saturday which is the normal trend for a successful film. The film has now grossed 7 crore nett in its second weekend over two days which is a decent total.

The film is being driven by Delhi NCR and East Punjab where the collections are comparable to RAAZI over the first nine days but there is a difference in other circuits especially Mumbai where the first week business of RAAZI will be the two week business of VEERE DI WEDDING.

VEERE DI WEDDING has emerged a HIT film as it has held up well enough on its second Friday. The drop had basically come on Thursday as the new films released a day earlier therefore it was a minimal drop of around 10-12% on Friday from Thursday. This basically confirms its HIT status

There is a drop of 75% from the first day but as the opening was good for the film, this is good enough for the film to emerge a HIT and do business around the 75 crore nett plus mark.
