URI had a huge third week of 36 crore nett as it dropped a little over 42% from the previous week. The second week had dropped just 12%. This has taken the total of the film to 170 crore nett which makes it the highest grossing small - medium film ever.
The business of the film has crossed the likes of BAAGHI 2 and RACE 3 and will go past the likes of KRRISH 3, HAPPY NEW YEAR, YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI, 2.0 (Hindi) and TIGER ZINDA HAI in the fourth week.
The film has good chances of reaching the 200 crore nett if it trends like week 3 in week 4 and shows a drop in the 40% range. The competition is weaker this week so the chances are there.
The collections of URI are as follows.
Week One - 71,23,00,000
Week Two - 62,76,00,000
Week Three - 36,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,69,99,00,000 apprx
The business is excellent all over with Mumbai leading the way with a 60 crore nett plus total. Delhi/UP is 33.50 crore nett and East Punjab is 16 crore nett plus.
West Bengal and Mysore which are traditionally not strong for patriotic films are at 8.50 crore nett and 9 crore nett respectively which is huge for these markets.

The film is rock steady with hardly any drop from the previous day. The third week will cross 35 crore nett and then that race to 200 crore nett will be on with the fourth Friday being very crucial. if the collections don't drop on the fourth Friday then 200 crore nett will happen for the film.
URI will probably cross the business of RACE 3 today which was the fourth highest grossers of last year.
The collections of URI till date are as follows.
Week One - 71,23,00,000
Week Two - 62,76,00,000

Sunday - 9,00,00,000 apprx
Third Weekend - 23,25,00,000 apprx

URI is heading for a huge third week as it collected 3 crore nett apprx on its third Monday taking its four day total in the third week to over 26 crore nett. The total business of the film has crossed 160 crore nett.
The third week of the film is heading for 34 crore nett which will be the fourth highest third week collection of all time after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION, DANGAL and PK. It will easily beat the best third weeks of last year which were PADMAAVAT at 30 crore nett and SANJU at 29 crore nett.
The only thing left to be seen is whether this film can reach 200 crore nett. It is an uphill task but with limited competition for two weeks there is a chance.
The collections of URI till date are as follows.
Week One - 71,23,00,000
Week Two - 62,76,00,000
Friday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 9,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 9,00,00,000 apprx
Third Weekend - 23,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,60,24,00,000 apprx

URI had an excellent third weekend with collections of 23 crore nett plus which has taken the business of the film to over 157 crore nett in 17 days. It will go past some big grossers of last year like RACE 3 and BAAGHI 2 in the next few days. The film saw on a drop on the third Friday as compared to the previous Friday but the national holiday gave it a huge boost on the third Saturday. The third weekend is the fourth highest ever after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION, DANGAL and PK.
The film still has chances to reach the 200 crore nett mark although it will be a long shot. The film has only dropped 37% this weekend despite the competition from two major releases in the form of MANIKARNIKA - THE QUEEN OF JHANSI and THACKERAY. The next two weeks will see much weaker films which gives it a chance of lesser falls and even if it was to fall in the same range as the third weekend it will still have a shot at 200 crore nett.
Mumbai circuit is a standout with business now going over 57 crore nett and the circuit is contributing more than 35% of the all India business. The business in Mumbai city and Pune is huge and far better than Delhi city comparatively and its normally that Delhi city leads for patriotic films.
The collections of URI till date are as follows.
Week One - 71,23,00,000
Week Two - 62,76,00,000
Friday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 9,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 9,00,00,000 apprx
Third Weekend - 23,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,57,24,00,000 apprx

URI is still going very strong in its third week as it collected 4.50-4.75 crore nett on its third Friday. This takes the collections of the film over 138 crore nett its pretty much certain that the 150 crore nett mark will be crossed before the end of the weekend.
The film has dropped around 35-40% from last Friday while last Friday the drop was only 10% approx. But this is mainly because of two new releases and its still a huge trend. The lifetime mark is still difficult to judge as there is weaker competition over the next two weeks. The 175 crore nett mark is there for the film and the 200 crore nett looks an uphill task but cannot be written of entirely just yet.
The film had better collections than the new release THACKERAY in practically all regions outside Maharashtra.
The collections of URI till date are as follows.
Week one - 71,24,00,000
Friday - 7,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 13,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 16,75,00,000 apprx
Monday - 6,75,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 6,50,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 6,00,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 62,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,75,00,000
TOTAL - 1,38,24,00,000 apprx
---------------------------------
URI is back in the chase for the 200 crore nett mark with a huge third Saturday after the drop on the third Friday. The film collected 9.75 crore nett on its third Saturday which has taken the film to a total of nearly 148 crore nett.
The 200 crore nett mark is in its sights and if the film holds well in week four and five there is a chance that this will film will become the first 200 crore nett film which has been produced and released with a cost of under 50 crore. URI is going very strong in Mumbai where the collections are around 55 crore nett. In Mysore the film is collected in the East Punjab range in week two and week three when the circuit is hardly half of East Punjab..
It was a national holiday on Saturday so the film will take a drop on Saturday but a minimal drop could mean the week heading to a 35 crore nett plus total.
The collections of URI till date are as follows.
Week one - 71,24,00,000
Friday - 7,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 13,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 16,75,00,000 apprx
Monday - 6,75,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 6,50,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 6,00,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 62,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 9,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,47,74,00,000 apprx
