TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR had a good hold in its third weekend as collections fell less than 50% from the previous weekend. The third weekend collections were pretty good close to 9 crore nett. which takes the overall total of the film to 112 crore nett.

The film will have a shortened week three as collections will get hit on Thursday due to the release of the biggie, BHOLAA. Its a part holiday; so maybe that can off set some of the fall that will come on Thursday. The film could do around 125 crore nett business but that depends on what happens in week four.

MRS CHATTERJEE VS NORWAY had a strong hold in its second weekend grossing nearly 4.50 crore nett. The drop from the first weekend is just 25% as the film takes its ten day total to 14 crore nett. The film continues to do very good business in Kolkata where the film has grossed more than it has in Delhi city despite lesser cinemas. On an average, for Hindi films, Delhi city would be three times of Kolkata.

The film has covered all costs from non theatrical and the theatrical business which is looking to be decent in India and Overseas will be a plus. The film should do a share of of over 15 crore worldwide.

TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR held up well on the third Friday as collections were pretty much similar to the the day before. The film grossed in the 1.75-2 crore nett range and the film is now well settled at these lower level of collections. The third week will easily go into double digits which not many films have done post pandemic.

This gives the film a chance of 125 crore nett lifetime though the release of BHOLAA may mean bigger falls in collections next week. The total collections of the film so far are 105 crore nett.

If this trend holds, it will be a 7 crore nett second week for the film. The film collected 85 lakhs nett apprx and has a total of 11 crore nett in 8 days.

The film has covered all costs from non theatrical and the theatrical business which is looking to be decent in India and Overseas will be a plus. The film should do a share of of over 15 crore worldwide.
