TIGER ZINDA HAI collected an excellent 5.50 crore nett in its fifth week which is the seventh highest fifth week collection of all time. It is better than the likes of PK and BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN though less than DANGAL and of course BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION which has the highest fifth week of all time. The drop in the fifth week was under 50% and the total collection of the film is now 335.50 crore nett.

The film did see a drop on day seven of the fifth week due to the release of PADMAAVAT but the drop was also exaggerated as places like UP and Bihar where PADMAAVAT was allowed to release but screenings had to stopped in fear of violence and this hit also hit TIGER ZINDA HAI as multiplexes remained closed. It looked on its way to cross the NETT figure of PK but the release of PADMAAVAT and these disturbances looks to have stopped it in its tracks. The film collected just 20 lakhs nett apprx on Thursday when Wednesday was 50 lakhs nett.

TIGER ZINDA HAI looks to be heading for a 5.50 crore nett fifth week although it will depend on what sort of collections it gathers when PADMAAVAT opened on Wednesday evening. The film stands at 334 crore at the moment and will end the fifth week at 335 crore nett plus.

The fifth week business of the film will be the 7th or 8th highest of all time which is phenomenal for an action film which opened so high. The fifth week will be higher than PK, the film whose lifetime total (337.72 crore nett) it chases. But a big film like PADMAAVAT will probably dent the trend which will keep it below PK.

TIGER ZINDA HAI grossed around 3.75-4 crore nett in its fifth weekend and took the overall total of the film to 333.50 crore nett apprx. The hold is very strong in week five with a drop of around 45% from last week. TIGER ZINDA HAI will be around the 335 crore nett mark when the controversial film PADMAAVAT arrives on Thursday (paid previews on Wednesday).

The film will also set the highest fifth week total ever for a Salman Khan starrer. In fact it already has done it as the previous highest was BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN at 3.78 crore nett followed by NO ENTRY (2005) at 3.11 crore nett and HUM SAATH SAATH HAIN (1999) at 2.96 crore nett.

TIGER ZINDA HAI showed around 65% growth on its fifth Saturday to collect 1.25 crore nett and takes its lifetime total to 331.75 crore nett. The film will become the highest Salman Khan GROSSER today as it beats the GROSS figures of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN (422 cr).

The film may also cross the NETT figure of PK which is third highest Hindi NETT grossers after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and DANGAL but it all depends on what happens with PADMAAVAT because if that film gets a restricted release it will allow TIGER ZINDA HAI an extended run where it can add 2-3 crore nett to go past the PK number.

TIGER ZINDA HAI remains the top film at the box office in its fifth week with collections of 75 lakhs nett apprx which takes its total to 330.25 crore nett. The Saturday growth should be big and on Sunday the film has shown huge growth since the start of its run. The drop is very minimal from Thursday to Friday and is best Thur - Fri trend since its release

The film can get to 3 crore nett plus over the weekend if it can show 50 plus growth on Saturday and Sunday. The PK nett total looks a step too far for the film but it has crossed that film in Delhi/UP, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Odisha. CP Berar and CI can also cross by the end of its run.
