After collaborating on a supercop-drama, Salman Khan and Prabhudheva fueled speculation around a potential reunion with consecutive appearances at the actor’s brother Sohail Khan’s office. While reports suggested that the film in question would be Salman’s Eid 2020 offering, Mirror has learnt that Sohail has registered the title, India’s Most Wanted Cop: Radhe, with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA).

Mirror (Feb 8) was the first to announce that Atul Agnihotri, whose last release with brother-inlaw Salman, Bharat, was a remake of the Korean film, An Ode To My Father, had bought the Hindi remake rights to another Korean film, the 2015 thriller, Veteran. Buzz was, this would be Salman’s next, but apparently it is a third adaptation, of the 2017 Korean film, The Outlaws, which is about a cop assigned with the task of finishing underworld gang clashes in the city.

Coincidentally, in his 2010 action drama, Wanted, Salman had played an undercover cop on a mission to end underworld reign in the city and also bring a wanted don to book. Meanwhile, Sohail has also registered the title India Pak in Bhojpuri, English, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.

Ever since Salman Khan announced that his reunion project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Inshallah, is not happening anymore, speculation has been rife about his Eid 2020 outing. Buzz is, the film in question is a remake of the 2017 Korean action-thriller, The Outlaws, and will be directed by Prabhudheva, who is currently wrapping up work with Salman on their second collaboration, a cop-drama.

Earlier this week, the actor-director duo was spotted outside the suburban office of Salman’s brother, Sohail Khan, who is believed to be producing the project with him. It was reported that the film would be titled Radhe, which was also the name of Salman’s characters in Wanted and Tere Naam. However, the 53-year-old actor clarified recently, saying, “We (Prabhudheva and I) are doing a film together again. But it is not called Radhe. It will come on Eid.”

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor, who produced Wanted and No Entry, which also featured Salman, has reportedly registered the titles Wanted 2, Wanted 3, No Entry Mein Entry and No Entry 2 with IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association).
