Dil Dhadakne Do 71.65 cr in 15 days; Tanu Weds Manu Returns 143.85 cr in 30 days

DIL DHADAKNE DO grossed a fair 16 crore nett in week two taking its total to 71 crore nett. The drop is around 70% week on week which is average trending. The film has done well in five cities and eventually there is a limit to where a film can go when only five cities are performing no matter how well.
The film failed to get support outside the metros and this will probably limit the final business of the film to around 77-78 crore nett.
The performance is better in Mumbai and South with Mumbai collecting around 25 crore nett in two weeks and Mysore around 5 crore nett after two weeks

TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS collected 8.75 cr in Week 4. The total is 143.50 crore nett in four weeks. It collected 35 lacs on it's 5th Friday and the collections are now 143.85 crore in 30 days.

TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS has become the 13th highest nett grosser of all time after its fourth weekend with collections around the 140.5 crore nett mark. It grossed around 5.5 crore nett in its fourth weekend.
The film crossed the nett business of films like SINGHAM RETURNS and BANG BANG over the weekend. It will soon cross DABANGG (2010) and then have a chance to hit 150 crore nett and be amongst the top ten nett grossers of all time.

TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS has had the third highest third week of all time just edging past YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI as it collected around 19.25 crore nett in week three. The top two are PK and 3 IDIOTS.
The film has now grossed 134.75 crore nett in three weeks making it the fifteenth highest grosser of all time and still some more business to come over the next few weeks. TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS has a chance for 150 crore nett though that will be the outer limit.

TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS continued to well on its fourth Friday as it grossed around 1.25 crore nett which is a 50% fall from last week despite two major new releases. In fact in terms of occupancies the film is probably doing best out of all the films showing despite being in week four.
The film is now competing with films like PK and 3 IDIOTS in terms of fourth week collections. These are the only films to go over 10 crore nett in week four and though TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS may find it hard to cross 10 crore nett it will get close.
The film should make it to 150 crore nett now as it should keep on collecting for a few weeks more There is a big release next week but after that there is not much which should enable TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS to slowly go past the 150 crore nett mark.
