SYE RAA NARASIMHA REDDY (Hindi) fared very badly in week one with collections of under 7 crore nett. The Telugu version in Hindi markets added another 2 crore nett which actually is not bad as SAAHO in Telugu did 2.50 crore nett in nine days in the Hindi markets. The huge difference is that film did 121 crore nett in Hindi compared to the 7 crore nett of SYE RAA NARASIMHA REDDY.

JOKER had a good extended first week with collections of 37.50 crore nett. The film has been appreciated in the upper end multiplexes and that is the target audience of the film as it has only released in English. The film did not have the content to have a Hindi and regional language release.

WAR collected 22.50 crore nett on its second day, a drop of around 55% plus which is a normal drop for a mass film coming off a huge collection on a big national holiday. The film has seen bigger drops in mass circuits as the holiday factor was huge in these places. The collections have dropped less in the bigger multiplexes.

This two day total is a huge 74 crore nett which is already a record weekend for Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff as none of there films have touched this mark in the first three days and this film is doing in the first two days. The third day could also see the film dropping a little but it should gain upward momentum again on Saturday and that will be the crucial day as there will be potential to have big growth. The five day weekend will depend on this growth.

JOKER is doing decent business as it fell 35% on day two. The film has a limited release restricted to metros mainly. As there are hardly any collections from mass markets, the drop is not much after a national holiday.

SYE RAA NARASIMHA REDDY is poor as it picked up around 1.15-1.25 crore nett on day two in Hindi markets in Hindi and Telugu. The film dropped off a very low opening day and the Hindi version has just not collected. Even in the Hindi circuits the Telugu version is doing better. The two day collections are around 3.75 crore nett.

WAR (Hindi) created history by collecting the highest first day figure of all time. The film collected a huge 51.50 crore nett apprx on day one which smashed the records of THUGS OF HINDOSTAN which set a record on Diwali last year. There was new highs across the board as it set new circuit highs in practically all circuits.

The highlight was Delhi/UP and East Punjab as the latter crossed 5 crore nett and Delhi/UP went to almost 11 crore nett. No other film has even crossed 10 crore nett in the circuit. Gujarat/Saurashtra was also a new record in the new tax regime as the taxes are up in this circuit compared to the time of Entertainment tax. The single screen numbers are crazy as it was practically house full all day across UP, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. It is easily the biggest opening day ever for Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff and has doubled the numbers of their previous bests.

Also the film was only released in 3850 screens in Hindi due to the competition which is low count for such a big film as it could have went to 4700 or 4800 if it was a normal release and you can easily give 5 crore for these screens. Now it is about at what levels the film will hold over the next few days as there will be drops coming of these huge holiday numbers. The regional versions of the film could add 1.50-1.75 crore nett as the Telegu version has netted around 1 crore nett.

SYE RAA NARASIMHA REDDY grossed around 2.50 crore nett in the Hindi circuits in Hindi and Telugu. The Telugu version collected well in Mumbai due to Chiranjeevi having some appeal with the South audience in Mumbai.
