The total collections of the film stand at 56 crore nett so far and with an open weekend this week as the Diwali releases come on Tuesday, this should be enough for the film to hit the 60 crore nett mark. Then its about whether the film can get any collections when the Diwali releases come on Tuesday.

This is maybe due to the lack of appreciation and possibly because there has been an offer on the film on most days, making the Tuesday offer less important.

The total collections of the film stand at 52.50 crore nett so far and with an open weekend this week as the Diwali releases come on Tuesday, it should be enough for the film to hit the 60 crore nett mark. However, that will be it as post Diwali it will struggle with KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 dominating the showcasing for the holdover films.

The overseas collections till the second weekend are $2.10 million and in terms of worldwide numbers, it can end up with a 100 crore finish. The genre should have better chances overseas especially with the Dharma branding but it shows overseas today is very much linked to the domestic market. If India had held up, the numbers in overseas would have come out better also.

The Friday held steady compared to the Thursday but the film could not get the weekend it should have as Saturday growth was not great considering how other films jumped. It was a strong Saturday for the box office but SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI missed out on it. The Sunday was never going to go up much and that is what happened.

The weekend growth may be muted as the Buy One Get One Free offer benefits the weekday collections giving weekends less potential for growth. The film collected 9.25 crore nett over the weekend which takes the film to 51 crore nett plus. The film can maybe get to 60 crore nett plus but a lot depends on how the weekdays collections hold up. Also, 60 crore nett is not much for the film especially as 9 crore nett came from a national holiday.

The film had a chance as the clash did not turn out heavy with KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 not really firing on all cylinders at the box office but the appreciation was missing leaving the film with limited collections.

This depends a lot on the growth on Saturday but if the film gets that growth, it can hit a 10 crore nett plus number on the second weekend.

The collections remain on the lower side but the film now has a shot to cross crore the 60 crore nett mark which did not look possible earlier. The open week makes a huge difference as a film like PARAM SUNDARI could not collect 10 crore nett over the whole week due to the competition from BAAGHI 4 and here it can cover that much over the weekend alone.

The lifetime of the film will beat PARAM SUNDARI and the next film on the list of the same zone in recent times is BAD NEWZ which did around 63 crore nett. That total will depend on whether the film can still collect over Diwali. The genre is very tough to score at the box office and numbers of these films tell the story.
