SINGHAM AGAIN grossed 4.25 crore nett in its fourth weekend which is a a better hold than last weekend but collections are at lower levels. The overall total of the film stands at 232 crore nett and the film is heading for a finish of 237-238 crore nett.
The film is on the verge of hitting 100 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and will the eleventh original Hindi film to do this and overall thirteen films have managed the feat with BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION and KGF - CHAPTER 2 also there. Despite Diwali being huge in the circuit, it is actually the first film to hit 100 crore nett on Diwali which is actually shows the content on Diwali has been falling short for sometime.
The film will do less than half of its Mumbai business in Delhi/UP with it likely to close around 45 crore nett. This shows outside Diwali, this 240 crore nett number may have been tough even with a solo release.
The collections of SINGHAM AGAIN till date are as follows.
Week One - 1,64,81,00,000
Week Two - 47,38,00,000
Week Three - 15,68,00,000
Friday - 85,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,55,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 1,90,00,000 apprx
Fourth Weekend - 4,30,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,32,17,00,000 apprx

SINGHAM AGAIN collected a decent 15.75 crore nett in week three with a little help from the elections in Maharashtra over the weekdays. The drop from the second week is around 67% which is lower than a drop in the second week.
The total collections of the film stand at almost 227 crore nett and it has another two weeks to collect till the release of PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE which is the next major release. It will basically end the business of SINGHAM AGAIN and the other holdovers. The film was down to lower levels post the Election jump which means the film will finish with less than 240 crore nett lifetime.
The highest grosser for Ajay Devgn is TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR followed by DRISHYAM 2. SINGHAM AGAIN may just cross the DRISHYAM 2 numbers but there is a huge difference in the size of the films. Hence, while the 230 crore nett plus business is extraordinary for DRISHYAM 2, it is so so for SINGHAM AGAIN.
The collections of SINGHAM AGAIN till date are as follows.
Week One - 1,64,81,00,000
Second Week - 47,38,00,000
Friday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,35,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,15,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 1,30,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 1,40,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 1,00,00,000 apprx
Third Week - 15,70,00,000 apprx (4 days)
TOTAL - 2,26,74,00,000 apprx
---------------------------------------------
SINGHAM AGAIN collected 85 lakhs nett on its fourth Friday which takes the collections of the film to 227.50 crore nett. The film was lagging BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 by around 50 lakhs nett on the fourth Friday.
SINGHAM AGAIN is an AVERAGE fare but a SOLO Diwali release would have meant a hit film and collections probably going towards the 300 crore nett mark. But again, like BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3, if it was a SOLO outside Diwali, then the number it is getting now would have been a tough ask.
The collections of SINGHAM AGAIN till date are as follows.
Week One - 1,64,81,00,000
Second Week - 47,38,00,000
Friday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,35,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,15,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 1,30,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 1,40,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 1,00,00,000 apprx
Third Week - 15,70,00,000 apprx
Friday - 85,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,27,59,00,000 apprx
A decent Diwali; Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Singham Again collect 475 cr

Diwali in 2024 has turned out be pretty good with both films looking to collect around 475 crore nett between which has never been collected before on Diwali. These numbers can actually be called good but there is feeding involved (corporate booking as per industry/media). So, the numbers are inflated and its the case for both films. This feeding is never as much the industry thinks but generally in the industry things get multiplied which sort of leaves a stigma on all the films which have gone this way and the list has many films post pandemic.
BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is the winner of the clash as at the end, its going to be doing more business in India and its a far smaller film than SINGHAM AGAIN. The profits are huge with the film being 100 crore in the plus for the makers. The Diwali factor has worked well for the film in a clash and its probably the right decision to come on Diwali even with a clash as when you go through how the film has performed in the circuits, its UNLIKELY the number would have been higher outside Diwali on a solo date. No doubt if it was a solo date on Diwali, then the business would have been better.
Eventually the film is the second biggest HIT from the Hindi film industry so far this year and that is a very good result but the film is not as big as HIT as the previous installment which released in 2022 and also appreciation is not at the level of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2.
SINGHAM AGAIN has suffered due to the clash but again if this film came on a solo date outside Diwali, it is practically certain the film would not be doing the number it has with this clash on Diwali. The Mumbai circuit number spells this out load and clear. SINGHAM AGAIN needed a solo Diwali which would have allowed it do what it needed theatrically. The clash has meant moderate business and with this huge budget, the film is going to be in the red even after revenue for all sources.
The big action film today needs the main character to be more front footed and testosterone heavy in terms of aggression (GADAR 2 and ANIMAL being prime examples) to really penetrate into the mass centres and here it looks the opposite as Bajirao Singham goes more subtle. This is all fine in reality as the character is ageing but reality holds little importance as far as masses are concerned. An aggressive Ajay Devgn in the film may not have added 100 crore nett to make the film a big HIT as other flaws would have been there but it would surely have comfortably finished above BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3.

SINGHAM AGAIN, like BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3, also saw a drop on Monday due to Friday being a partial holiday. The film collected 1.15 crore nett which takes the total collections of the film to 224 crore nett.
The third week collections stand at 12 crore nett and its looking a 15 crore nett apprx from SINGHAM AGAIN. The trend here means the film will not reach the 250 crore nett mark and its looking a close of around 235 crore nett or 240 crore nett at a best case scenario.
The plus of the film is Mumbai circuit which is still on course for 100 crore nett but overall its an AVERAGE fare. Even the Average mark is a good result today but its a franchise film with a huge budget. In that context, it has to be doing far more business.
The collections of SINGHAM AGAIN till date are as follows.
Week One - 1,64,81,00,000
Second Week - 47,38,00,000
Friday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,35,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,15,00,000 apprx
Third Week - 12,00,00,000 apprx (4 days)
TOTAL - 2,23,04,00,000 apprx
Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continue to dominate; a 500 cr Diwali is very much possible

The Diwali releases continue to dominate the box office despite a few new releases. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 collected a good 4.25 crore nett which is a little up on the Thursday and now the total of the film stands at 212 crore nett and it is set for another very good week.
The film was boosted a little in North due to Guru Nanak Jayanti as both Delhi NCR and East Punjab showed good gains from the Thursday and this was basically why the film went up on Friday. The growth will be less also in these two circuits on Saturday but Mumbai and the rest will show a good jump. So, overall there should be a solid growth. The film now has a shot at 250 crore nett lifetime business as its an open period till the release of PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE.
SINGHAM AGAIN collected 3 crore nett apprx on its third Friday which is similar to the Thursday and this film also benefitted in NCR and Punjab but the ratio is less than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 in these parts. The total collections of SINGHAM AGAIN are now 215 crore nett and even here there is an outside chance of 250 crore nett though it will be harder than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 as that film has a better trend.
There is a chance now that it may well turn out to be a 500 crore Diwali and if not its going to very close. This is good news for the industry as Diwali has never been this big in the recent past and on topm both films had reports which cant be called good but still these numbers have come. Obviously, the franchise factor has to a lot to do with it which will mean even more franchise films in the near future.

SINGHAM AGAIN did well in its second week collecting 47 crore nett and taking its ten day business to 212 crore nett. The drop in the second week is over 70% which is on the higher side but with a huge holiday first week and the film suffering outside Mumbai circuit, this sort of drop was likely. Moreover, its an action film which are front loaded.
The film has collected around 9 crore nett less than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 in week two despite leading in the first week. The film has suffered due to the clash but its not about releasing on another date and hitting the expectations as reports are so so. This film probably needed Diwali solo to do the business it needed. Its easily crossing 225 crore nett and a solo release could have added 25-30% or even more which would have mean HIT business.
The film is flirting with 90 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and here the film is a HIT and will beat the likes of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, RRR (Hindi) and SULTAN despite all India being well short of these films.
The collections of SINGHAM AGAIN till date are as follows.
Week One - 1,64,81,00,000
Friday - 8,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 13,75,00,000 apprx
Monday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 3,25,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 47,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,12,06,00,000 apprx
-----------------------------------
SINGHAM AGAIN had a decent third weekend as it collected almost 11 crore nett which takes the total collections of the film to 223 crore nett. The film managed to show better growth than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 on Sunday probably due to the far higher ratio of business coming in Gujarat. Gujrat is probably also the only main area where the film will beat BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 and that too comfortably.
The highlight of the film is Mumbai circuit where the collections are almost 95 crore nett and is pretty much certain to close over the 100 crore nett mark. A huge blockbuster film like ANIMAL had done 130 crore nett in Mumbai so its only 23% less here. In Gujarat, the gap may just be 10% with ANIMAL in the final run due to the holiday factor.
The collections of the film are now pretty similar to BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 despite leading by around 7 crore nett on day one. The 250 crore nett is tough for SINGHAM AGAIN due to a weaker trend than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3.
The collections of SINGHAM AGAIN till date are as follows.
Week One - 1,64,81,00,000
Second Week - 47,38,00,000
Friday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,35,00,000 apprx
Third Weekend - 10,85,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,23,04,00,000 apprx
