SIMMBA had a drop in collections in week four as URI behaved like a new release in its second week. The drop in week four was around 70% when the second week dropped around 60% and the third week dropped around 67%. The total numbers for the film are now 238 crore nett plus and its looking a 240-242 crore nett finish for the film.

The film stands at almost 88 crore nett in Mumbai which is the sixth highest collection ever in the circuit while Delhi/UP has just edged past the 50 crore nett mark in four weeks. In Delhi/UP its the tenth highest NETT grosser ever.

The film will fall a little short of the 400 crore mark worldwide though if it gets a release in Far East then it could do the number in all formats.

SIMMBA slowed down in the fourth weekend as the URI craze took over and SIMMBA dropped 70-75% from the previous weekend. The film collected 4 crore nett in its fourth weekend which takes the total to 236 crore nett plus.

The collections were mainly from the multiplexes in the fourth week. Even overall the ratio of business from single screens is far less than other mass action films like TIGER ZINDA HAI and BAAGHI 2. This is because maybe those films were outright action films while this was not. Mumbai is looking to fall a little short of 90 crore nett.

SIMMBA took a hit on the fourth Friday as it collected 75-80 lakhs nett which is a 70% drop for last Friday. This drop takes away totally that little chance it had of reaching the 250 crore nett mark. The strong run of URI has also slowed down SIMMBA.

The total collections of the film are now nearly 233 crore nett and the film could finish at around 240-242 crore nett. It would make it the tenth highest grossing film in terms of NETT and GROSS collections. The film has seen the best collections in Mumbai and CP Berar while its the Eastern markets which could have been better. North started slowly but eventually has done very well for this type of film which has a Maharashtra/South feel to it.

The Mumbai circuit of the film has crossed 85 crore nett and it is now chasing the 90 crore nett of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN which was an all India 300 crore nett plus grosser.
