Shraddha Kapoor & family zero in on a villa in Goa; to finalize the deal in coming months?

Years of search for an appropriate property in Goa comes to an end, with Shraddha Kapoor zeroing in on two villas. The Kapoor clan has its heart pinned on distinct bungalows in north and south Goa each. The actor, we hear, took time off from badminton training, part of the prep for her upcoming Saina Nehwal biopic, to go on a property hunting spree with family last week.
A source close to the Kapoors tells mid-day, “The family was hunting for property. They are not picky about the location; indifferent about it being situated along the beach or in the mountains. But, they want the place to have a positive energy. The area should be well- developed, safe and visually appealing.”
While father Shakti Kapoor only confirms that the family was searching for villas in Goa, the source adds, “They like a particular three- bedroom home in south Goa. But, Shivangi [Kolhapure, Shraddha’s mother] has her heart set on one in the north. So, they are looking into the logistics now.” A previous deal of a Vagator Beach property in north Goa, the source adds, fell apart.
The property will serve as a retreat for the family. With Kolhapure being a practitioner of Theta Healing and Sukyo Mahikari techniques, she also intends to conduct healing classes at the venue, says the source. “Given their busy schedules, the family wants a property which is easy to maintain, and has a luxurious look. They aren’t interested in doing any renovation,” says the source, adding that the trip to Panjim could barely qualify as a vacation. “They were too busy shuttling across the state and searching for property to unwind.”

However, Shraddha Kapoor is quick to assert that she won't be moving out of her parents' home anytime soon; this apartment is only for work

Shraddha Kapoor, who is riding high on back-to-back hits, celebrated her success by gifting herself a new home in Juhu around 10 days ago. The apartment is in the same society where she currently stays with her parents, Shakti and Shivangi Kapoor, and brother Siddhanth.
Confirming the news an elated Shraddha says, "Yes, I have bought a cute house for myself which is very close to my parents' home in Juhu. It feels great to finally buy my own house."
However, she is quick to add that she won't be moving out of her parents' house anytime soon. "I am extremely comfortable here, I love staying with my family. The other house is for my meetings and work related stuff so I don't have to take over my parents' house," laughs the 27-year-old actress who is currently shooting for Shaad Ali's Ok Jaanu with Aditya Roy Kapur. According to a source close to the actress, Shraddha who loves music and has sung four songs already with a few more coming up in the Rock On sequel, will also be using the new house for her music lessons and practise.
Speaking to Mirror (April 12) earlier Shraddha had admitted that it felt nice to wake up and see the faces of her parents, brother and dog. "Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever be able to leave my parents' home though I know that I will have to some day," she had said.
Earlier, daddy Shakti had gifted his darling daughter three properties, including a bungalow in Madh Island, a sea-facing flat in Juhu and a shop which has been rented out. Recently, Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Parineeti Chopra and Taapsee Pannu have also invested in properties.
Shraddha may be planning to use the property for professional purposes for now but has opted for a homely feel with rustic wood interiors. She didn't want it to look like an office. "If you open the doors of the bedrooms, it seems like one beautiful, airy apartment which gives out really positive vibes," adds the source.

Shraddha Kapoor spoke about how she has had a very protective
childhood, and was accompanied by someone everywhere she went. Well,
looks like daddy's little girl has really grown up. And she is all ready
to live by herself. Shraddha has bought herself a new house in Juhu,
which is tucked in between her parents' house and maasi's (Padmini
Kolhapure) house. So while she will enjoy the perks of living solo, she
won't be too far away from the comfort of mom and dad. Smart move, gal.

Shraddha Kapoor recently revealed that she wants to live by herself

Though young
actress Shraddha Kapoor had recently announced her plans to move out of
her parents house, she isn’t sure when it’s going to be actually
possible. She has been shooting for her projects back-to-back and any
free time is gone towards promoting her film. She says, “I haven’t yet
moved out but I am planning to. I am currently looking for places but I
haven’t really found anything interesting as yet. I would like it to be
preferably in and around my parents’s place but it also depends on if or
not I like the house.” She lists out her top three priorities, “First
criteria is close to home, second is that the place must have a nice
view and third is that it has to be a nice building in a good society.”
But she doesn’t think all this will happen soon as hunting for properties and finalising on one will take time. “I don’t know when I will be able to move out honestly, because I have absolutely no time. I don’t even have the time to clean my room, it’s in such a mess. How will I move houses? Having said that, I think it will be interesting to live by myself. My parents’ support will be there but when I will be able to move, I don’t know!”

She may be two hits old, but Shraddha Kapoor is not
ready to move out of her family home just yet. Adjustments were made to
facilitate greater privacy for Shraddha, though. She says, “There is no
way I can ever move out of my home. I am too attached to my family. But
yes, my living space has now been made larger. I now have my own exit
and entrance so that my parents don’t get disturbed by my odd hours.”
Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, is already looking for a pad.
