ROMEO AKBAR WALTER fared poorly with collections of nearly 30 crore nett in week one. The film could not really hold up on the weekdays but as there is no major release the film could get some respectability if it can really hold well today (second Friday).

The film had to do better on Monday due to the not so good weekend business. KESARI had a similar drop on Monday and went on to be a HIT but that was because some territories had out performed on Friday due to holiday period and they fell on Monday but then stabilized at a lower level but its difficult to see this film sustain after this drop. The first week of ROMEO AKBAR WALTER should be around 30 crore nett.

The film will do better business than the likes of FORCE 2 and ROCKY HANDSOME but that is about it. The first week will be in the 29.50-30 crore nett range.

There was some decent growth on Saturday and if it could have followed up with the same on Sunday it would have at least been a decent trend over the weekend. But the Sunday growth was 50% of the Saturday growth and now it remains to be seen where the film goes on Monday. The film cannot afford that normal Monday drop and has to sustain better. The film has fared best in Mumbai collecting almost 8 crore nett from the circuit.
