SHAMITABH grossed 3.50 crore nett apprx on day one which is a poor figure and the film will be depending on big growth over the weekend and then a strong hold on Monday.

The collections in most circuits were low but the film was helped slightly by Mysore and Tamil Nadu / Kerala which contributed around 20% of its all India business when normally the contribution is around 6-7%. the mass circuits were poor with places like Rajasthan and CI having similar numbers to last weeks Khamoshiyan.

Mumbai grossed around 1.25 crore nett while Delhi/UP was around 60 lakhs nett. East Punjab was 30 lakhs nett and Mysore was better than East Punjab which hardly ever happens with collections of 35 lakhs nett plus.
