SHAITAAN collected had another very good week of 19 crore nett which is just a 45% drop from the previous week but the film could have done even more. There has been a little bit of fatigue creeping in from Sunday and the 150 crore nett number, which looked easy now, will be difficult to achieve

Its not just the fatigue but the new releases CREW and GODZILLA x KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE have opened very well and come as strong competition which will hit collections from here on. As the fatigue set in on Sunday, the film did not benefit from Holi as it could have. The total collections of the film are now 135 crore nett and it will remain in cinemas till Eid.

Overall, the film has done excellent to get here especially its a genre that does not hold too well though post pandemic the lack of content can be the reason for that. Actually more than lack of content, it may be that the audience plays safe and goes to a HIT film leaving lower collections for the others. SHAITAAN is the biggest HIT of 2024 till date.

SHAITAAN collected 3 crore nett on Monday which was a holiday for Holi but it should have been more. The film had a drop on Sunday which looked it may have been due to Holi but it may have been some fatigue as the film should have jumped more on Monday.

The genre does not hold that strong but SHAITAAN was proving that wrong the way it was going and is maybe feeling the heat a little now though it hardly matters as the job is done. The film has a total of 129 crore nett so far with the third week being at 14 crore nett in four days.

There will be some Holi leftover in many states which means there should be a hold on Tuesday at least. The week is probably heading for the 19 crore nett which is a very good number but it looked more when the week started.

SHAITAAN is heading for an excellent third week as it picked up 11 crore nett in its third weeeknd and now there is Holi to come. The film is easily heading for the best third week of the year as FIGHTER did 14 crore nett plus in week three and here SHAITAAN is already 11 crore nett.

The film saw a drop on Sunday which was probably due to the Holi factor. The other films kept a more normal Sunday trajectory as they hardly had collections in mass markets be it MADGAON EXPRESS, SWATANTRYA VEER SAVARKAR or KUNG FU PANDA 4. SHAITAAN sees the worst trend of films running on Sunday but over Holi it may show the best trend as business jumps in UP, CI. Raajsthan etc.

The total collections of the film are now 126 crore nett and the 150 crore nett mark looks pretty easy from here. It remains the top collecting film in its third week and is sure to run well to Eid which is more than two weeks away.  Although the overall total will not reach the FIGHTER number it is on course to beat the Hrithik Roshan starrer in a couple of mass circuits.

SHAITAAN had a a fantastic hold on its third Friday as it collected 2.75 crore nett and is the biggest HIT of 2024. It potentially may end up as the first SUPER HIT film of the year. The hold this Friday puts the film on a different trajectory as now the 150 crore nett mark is a sure shot for the film.

The film will consolidate this hold over the weekend and then there will be the Holi period where collections will remain good. It looks like there is going to be a minimal fall this week and the film could be at around 140 crore nett mark by the end of the third week.

The fourth week will have a holiday for Good Friday and if it trends well post week three, it will emerge a SUPER HIT film. The film has almost 118 crore nett up already and with this hold on third Friday, there seems to be plenty of gas left in the tank yet. The fact that other releases around it are not doing well is pushing the film but that has been case with almost every film post pandemic as audiences go to the film which is being liked while others are avoided.
