MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT is a HIT film as it grossed 53.75 crore nett in week one which is just a little short of the lifetime business of the last MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE film ROGUE NATION. It will be by far the biggest film of the franchise in India and could finish over 70 crore nett though that will depend on the fall on the second Friday.

The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT till date are as follows.
Friday - 9,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,75,00,000 apprx

SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 had a very dull first week of 7.60 crore nett and it is sure to be the worst film in its franchise but the big question is should the film be a franchise anyway as hardly anybody watched the first two films.

The daily collections of SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 in week one are as follows.
Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,50,00,000 apprx

Monday - 65,00,000 apprx

Thursday - 45,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 7,60,00,000 apprx

NAWABZAADE grossed a very poor 3.35 crore nett apprx in week one. The weekdays were steady but its pretty pointless at the 30-35 lakh nett levels.

The daily first week collections of NAWABZAADE are as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 65,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 95,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 35,00,000 apprx

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT continued to hold well on Tuesday with a drop of just 5% from the previous day. The film collected 4.75 crore nett on Tuesday and has taken its five day total to 46 crore nett. The first week will be in the 54-55 crore nett range.

The highest Hollywood grosser this year is AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR with nearly 225 crore nett and second best is JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM with around 85 crore nett and this will probably be third as the JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM figures looks out of reach due to the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE run being cut short by the Independence Day releases in week three.

The collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT till date are as follows.
Friday - 9,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 14,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 46,00,00,000 apprx

SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 is heading for a first week total of 7.75 crore nett and its lifetime business will not even reach the 10 crore nett mark.

The collections of SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 till date are as follows.
Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 1,65,00,000 apprx
Monday - 65,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 60,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 6,65,00,000 apprx

NAWABZAADE is steady on very low collections. The first week will end at around 3.75 crore nett but it will still see a huge drop in collections in week two despite the weekdays not falling much.

The first five day collections are as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 65,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 95,00,000 apprx
Monday - 35,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 35,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,75,00,000 apprx

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT had a good hold on Monday dropping around 45% from Friday as it collected 5 crore nett. This takes the five day total of the film to 41.25 crore nett and it confirms its status of a HIT film. The first week should go to 55 crore nett range which is a good first week number

In one week it will do the business of the last MISSION IMPOSSIBLE film ROGUE NATION released a few years back. The competition is not strong this week so it should have a chance to put up a decent second week total but the third week will be minimal as the Independence releases will come mid week.

The collections for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT till date are as follows.
Friday - 9,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 14,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 41,25,00,000 apprx

SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 is a huge flop as collections fell 45-50% as it collected 60-70 lakhs nett on Monday. The first week collections of the film will be around 7.75 crore nett and not much will coming thereafter.

The collections of SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 till date are as follows.
Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 1,65,00,000 apprx
Monday - 65,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 6,05,00,000 apprx

NAWABZAADE dropped only 20% from Friday but the collections are too low. The first week business of the film will be 3.25 crore nett and it might get a few screens in week two. It could do better than SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 in week two.

The first four day collections are as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 65,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 95,00,000 apprx
Monday - 35,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,40,00,000 apprx

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT had an excellent first weekend of 36.25 crore nett and is a HIT film as the trend was also strong with good growth on Saturday and a solid Sunday performance. It should have some sort of hold on Monday which will ensure a minimum HIT status.

It could be that the film matches the business of the last MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE film in one week. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION had grossed 55 crore nett in its lifetime and that could be surpassed in one week if FALLOUT holds well over the weekdays. JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM had grossed 37.50 crore nett but that was over a four day weekend.

The collections for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT till date are as follows.
Friday - 9,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 14,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 36,25,00,000 apprx

SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 is very dull with no trend over the weekend. The film does not have much chance over the weekdays. The first weekend was a little short of 5.50 crore nett and with this trend it will probably be the lowest grosser of all the films in this franchise.

The collections of SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 are as follows.
Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 1,65,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 5,40,00,000 apprx

NAWABZAADE has shown good growth on Saturday and Sunday but the level of collections is too low for it to really matter. It has very low occupancy.

The first three day collections are as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 65,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 95,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,05,00,000 apprx

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT showed a huge jump on day two as collections went up by around 35-40% which is excellent for a film which opened well and on top is an action film. The film is looking set to emerge a HIT and could even be a big hit depending on what happens on the weekdays.

The film collected 12.75 crore nett on Saturday to take its two day total to 22 crore nett and the weekend will cross 35 crore nett for sure though growth maybe limited on Sunday which is the case for most Hollywood releases.

The collections for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT till date are as follows.
Friday - 9,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 22,00,00,000 apprx

SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 is a big flop as the film also could not do much on Saturday. The growth is limited at 20% and this should probably be end of this franchise though with the Hindi film industry you never know.

The collections of SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 are as follows.
Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 3,75,00,000 apprx

NAWABZAADE is also a poor fare though its growth was better than SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3. The film is an also ran and the two day collections are as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 65,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,10,00,000 apprx

The two new Hindi releases SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 and NAWAABZAADE fared poorly at the box office with SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 3 collecting in the 1.25 crore nett range while NAWAABZAADE was hardly 50 lakhs nett as per early estimates.

SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER had opened to 92 lakhs nett in 2011 and SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER RETURNS had opened to 3.22 crore nett in 2013. In real value the opening of SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER is far better. The opening of the second one now looks pretty decent not just compared with this franchise but even films generally today of this size.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT had a very good first day as it grossed 9.50 crore nett apprx on day one. It is the sixth highest opening ever for a Hollywood release in India on its early estimate figure. It could be fifth or seventh on the final figures.

The last MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE film ROGUE NATION had grossed a little under 6.50 crore nett and there is a 50% improvement in the opening numbers of the franchise in India which is very good. It remains to be seen how the film goes in the long run and the first target will be 55 crore nett which is the lifetime business of ROGUE NATION in 2015. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - GHOST PROTOCOL had grossed 46 crore nett in 2011.

The top ten Hollywood opening days in India (first full day) are as follows.
1. Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - 31,23,00,000
2. Fast & Furious 7 (2015) - 12,03,00,000
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) - 10,96,00,000
4. The Jungle Book (2016) - 10,12,00,000

9. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) - 7,93,00,000
