RAID 2 has taken its total to 162 crore nett after five weeks as it collected well again in week five with 4.25 crore nett. The film saw a drop with the release of BHOOL CHUK MAAF but it has maintained its run well thereafter. With the release HOUSEFULL 5, there is very little to come now. Maybe the close of the film will be around 165 crore nett.
The numbers ensure the franchise has the potential to go forward as collections improve 70% from the first RAID film though today is such the craze of franchise films that even films that under perform get another film. But here, the business of this film has established the franchise. The numbers good to very good all over in all circuits.
The collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000
Week Two - 38,83,00,000
Week Three - 18,62,00,000
Week Four - 7,73,00,000
Week Five - 4,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,62,16,00,000
Raid 2 collects 156.88 cr in 4 weeks; Bhool Chuk Maaf 43 cr in Week 1

RAID 2 had a decent fourth week as it collected 6.75 crore nett. There is a drop of 63% but that was likely due to the new release BHOOL CHUK MAAF. Yet, it should remain steady for next 7 days as it will be the last week. Later, it will see very limited business. The collections of the film stand at almost 157 crore nett and its final business will depend on the collections in week five.
The film is going to do around 10% more than SHAITAAN though collections in South India and Odisha will remain less. South India is probably down to local releases and Odisha is probably because of the horror factor in SHAITAAN. The box office has done pretty well over in April with JAAT and KESARI CHAPTER 2. RAID 2 scored even bigger in May and now June has even more potential with HOUSEFULL 5.
The collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000
Week Two - 38,83,00,000
Week Three - 18,62,00,000

BHOOL CHUK MAAF picked up around 43 crore nett in its first week.
The collections of BHOOL CHUK MAAF till date are as follows.

BHOOL CHUK MAAF picked up 7 crore nett on Friday and then went to 9.50 crore nett on Saturday with Sunday getting a 11.50 crore nett number. The number for the three day weekend is 28 crore nett and it has got 4-4.25 crore nett on Monday. This takes the number of the film to 32 crore nett in four days. The first week should be going over 40 crore nett and the film faces no competition this week. Hence, the numbers may keep coming.
RAID 2 had a steady fourth Monday with collections drooping only 20% from the Friday. The drop for the film had come on Friday and that is why Monday has not dropped much. The fourth week of the film looks to be heading for business around 6.50 crore nett and this should lead to a comfortable 160 crore nett total for the film.
The film has now collected 55 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and Delhi/UP stands at 35 crore nett. The first RAID film in 2018 had done 36 crore nett in Mumbai and 21 crore nett in Delhi/UP. So, its pretty much the same ratios though there is slightly more improvement in Delhi/UP compared with the film. This is probably because generally Delhi/UP has a market is better than Mumbai post pandemic.
The collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000
Week Two - 38,83,00,000
Week Three - 18,62,00,000

BHOOL CHUK MAAF picked up 7 crore nett on Friday and then went to 9.50 crore nett on Saturday with Sunday getting a 11.50 crore nett number. The number for the three day weekend is 28 crore nett and lets see what happens with the film from here.
There was another release, KAPKAPIII, which could not collect and had a weekend of 75 lakhs nett.
RAID 2 saw a drop in collections due to the release of BHOOL CHUK MAAF and collected around 4 crore nett. It takes the film to 154 crore nett and the job is done for the film. It should collect around 160 crore nett unless the next week can hold steady and there is a possibility as there are no major releases.
RAID 2 can see some collections in week five but the wait now is for HOUSEFULL 5 which has got a hit song with 'Laal Pari'. Moreover, the sequel factor puts it in a good position and hopefully it will emerge as the biggest opening day for Akshay Kumar. It also has the summer period to take advantage of if the merits are there.
The collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000
Week Two - 38,83,00,000

RAID 2 saw a drop on the fourth Friday as it collected 75-80 lakhs nett which means the fourth week will see a major drop in collections. The Friday is down around 70%; so, a 65-70% drop week on week looks there for the film. The growth on Saturday can be better than last week due to the lower collections.
The drop is due to the release of BHOOL CHUK MAAF despite though the Hollywood releases last week did not affect it. The situation is totally different when a new Hindi film releases. BHOOL CHUK MAAF is a wide release and on top, there are incentives to watch the film, causing a drop in the collections of RAID 2. The job is done for the film though as it stands at 151 crore nett.
The film has done well over with Mumbai circuit and West Bengal being the best. The former got advantage of a huge holiday on day one which really helped collections. There will be circuits like Odisha and the South circuits which will stay below SHAITAAN. But Odisha is probably because of the horror advantage for SHAITAAN and South saw regional films release alongside RAID 2.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000

RAID 2 has comfortably crossed the 200 crore gross mark overseas as it heads for the fifth highest total ever for an Ajay Devgn film worldwide. The bigger Ajay Devgn grossers worldwide are all 300 crore plus films be it SINGHAM AGAIN, TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR, DRISHYAM 2 or GOLMAAL 3. The film stands at 208 crore in terms of worldwide gross collections after 20 days.
RAID (2018) had a total of 143 crore worldwide and if we compare with that, then the main difference will be India as in Overseas RAID 2 will be better by only around 20-25% as its heads for a $3.5 million end while RAID was almost $3 million. The film will manage to go past RAID in all the major overseas markets. US/Canada and Gulf both top $1 million.
The difference in India is huge as it looks to be doing 70% more than RAID. Basically the numbers of the film in India and Overseas establish the film has a franchise and the way they are basically gold dust at the moment as the box office is very receptive to them. Now this sets up more films in this franchise in the future.
The worldwide numbers of RAID 2 are as follows.
India - 181 crore (149 crore nett)
Overseas - 27.25 crore ($3.25 million)
TOTAL - 208.50 crore
------------------------------------------
RAID 2 did very well its third week collecting 19 crore nett which is just a 50% drop from the previous week. The film now stands at 150 crore nett and has crossed the business of SHAITAAN released last year. The third week numbers were also slightly better than SHAITAAN. The big difference is Gujarat where SHAITAAN did not do well as it was a remake of the Gujrati film, VASH.
RAID 2 had competition of two Hollywood releases last week with MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING and FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES but was not affected. However, this week, there is BHOOL CHUK MAAF which will will probably affect it more as there will be more of an over lapping audience. This film was supposed to come two weeks back and that has worked in the favour of RAID 2.
The film has done well over with Mumbai circuit and West Bengal being the best, the former got advantage of a huge holiday on day one which really helped collections. There will be circuits like Odisha and the South circuits which will stay below SHAITAAN but Odisha is probably because of the horror advantage for SHAITAAN. Meanwhile, South saw regional films release alongside RAID 2.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.

RAID 2 saw a good jump on Tuesday due as it collected 2 crore nett which now takes the film to 147 crore nett. The third week has reached 16 crore nett and its looking to finish 18.5-19 crore nett. The comparative figures for SHAITAAN was 18.75 crore nett. So, its a similar third week number to that film.
The growth was due to discounted Tuesday and the lower ticket rates. The film will still have two weeks from this Friday to add to business until the release of HOUSEFULL 5. There should be at least 15 crore nett to come post the third week and may be it can even add more after the third week.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.

RAID 2 collected 1.65 crore nett apprx on its third Monday which gives the film a total of 145 crore nett plus. The third week is around 14 crore nett in four days and will finish at 18.5-19 crore nett which is a good third week total. The film will be closing the week at around 150 crore nett.
The hold on Monday is normal for a holdover film as Friday was around 2.75 crore nett. The film will still have two weeks from this Friday to add to business until the release of HOUSEFULL 5. There should be at least 15 crore nett to come post the third week and may be it can even add more after the third week.

RAID 2 held up very well over its third weekend with collections of 12.50 crore nett. The drop is under 50% from the previous weekend and again the film showed good growth on Sunday which is a sign of appreciation across all circuits. The Saturday saw less growth but that was likely as MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING released that day and this reflected on all holdovers.
RAID 2 has an overall total of 134 crore nett and its likely to cross the 150 crore nett mark at the end of the week. The way its going, there may still be plenty of gas left in the tank. The film is now holding well across the Hindi belt especially Delhi/UP circuits which could have started better but now is probably holding best.
The collections in Delhi/UP stand at 32 crore nett while Mumbai is at 50 crore nett which is already more than SHAITAAN. The film got a huge boost in day one in Maharashtra and that has enabled Mumbai circuit to have a better ratio as compared to SHAITAAN. Also, the film is doing very well in Gujarat unlike SHAITAAN. West Bengal is another circuit scoring well and it will be the third best Ajay Devgn film in the circuit after DRISHYAM 2 and SINGHAM AGAIN.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000
Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx

RAID 2 scored a very good second week of 38.50 crore nett despite having issues on Friday and Saturday due to the Pakistan conflict. The film has dropped under 60% from an eight day first week which is a good hold. The film did see a drop on Wednesday but this can be because of the holiday on Monday followed by the discounted rates on Tuesday which consumed much of the weekday audience.
This week has seen the BHOOL CHUK MAAF fiasco, which will be releasing with a shortened window, when this window should actually be pushing higher for better results. Then there is this discounted Tuesday being initiated by PVR/INOX which is also not a clever idea. The belief is probably that you are getting more people into the habit of cinema but its more likely you are going to get a chunk of your regular going audience going to cinemas on Tuesday which means other weekdays will suffer. The price sensitivity in India is due to concessions and NOT ticket rates. If nothing is to be done with concessions then just let it be and don't play around with ticket rates making the audience come out for discounts which hardly add much to bottom lines.
RAID 2 now stands at 131 crore nett and is the second HIT film of the year and it will be third Friday which will determine the lifetime business. But it may well be a different week as MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING is releasing on Saturday. So, the trend will probably will be different and Saturday may not see the growth with usually comes on Saturday.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 8,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 11,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 4,25,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 2,75,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 38,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,31,23,00,000 apprx
---------------------------------------
RAID 2 saw very good collections on the third Friday as it collected 2.75 crore nett which is pretty much similar to the day before. There are Hollywood releases which are the competition with FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES which opened on Thursday and has done pretty well. Meanwhile, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING has opened today to very good houses.
Despite these releases, RAID 2 is pretty much unaffected though the test will be today with the release of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE and at the moment its looks like coming through as the growth seems to be there as far as the morning shows go. This is the main obstacle for the film and once it comes through this its a good run till the release of HOUSEFULL 5. There will be BHOOL CHUK MAAF next week but that's not a film that will alter the run of RAID 2 unless reports are strong.
RAID 2 has so far collected 134 crore nett and if the growth comes like normal or near normal on the third Saturday, then the film will be looking at a 150 crore nett number by the end of the third week. It will cross the numbers of SHAITAAN in three weeks flat and that is despite a few days when collections went down due to the Pakistan conflict.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 8,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 11,25,00,000 apprx

RAID 2 was excellent on its second Sunday as it collected over 11 crore nett and is now back on track to hit a good lifetime total. The film lost a little bit of momentum since Wednesday due to the conflict but Sunday saw the sort of collections you would have expected after those Monday and Tuesday holds.
The film is now a bona fide HIT as that 140 crore nett mark looks an easy ride and it could go much higher due to the open run till June. This number could have been a issue if the conflict lingered on. There is MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING but its unlikely to affect much in the key markets of RAID 2. Maybe Mumbai city will get impacted but eventually there is enough space here for RAID 2 to do its numbers.
RAID 2 stands at almost 117 crore nett and despite these issues, its still probably looking at a second week which will be over 35 crore nett and maybe even close to 40 crore nett. The film has business of around 42 crore nett in Mumbai while Delhi/UP is around 25 crore nett. The surprise is West Bengal although its not huge, the numbers are more that expected for this type of film and. Its likely to be among the top three films of Ajay Devgn in this circuit.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 8,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 11,25,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 24,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,16,73,00,000 apprx
------------------------------------------
RAID 2 sees a strong hold on its fourth Monday due to the holiday for Budhaa Purnima as it collects around 4.50 crore nett and takes the overall total of the film to 121 crore nett. The film is heading for a very good second week despite the issues it had on Friday and Saturday especially in North and border areas.
The film is on discounted rates this week after skipping them in the first week which will probably the way to go for most bigger films. This should ensure a good hold even though the film is coming out of a holiday but it will Wednesday when the film will come down to its normal level and then it will be about the third weekend.
RAID 2 is now a certified HIT which the conflict had put into doubt and now it can even do more than HIT business as the field is open in front of it for three weeks notwithstanding MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING which will affect down South. But in the rest of the country, RAID 2 can continue to hold strong and in South its mainly Bangalore where RAID 2 has good collections. The film will be comfortably over 130 crore nett in three weeks. SHAITAAN did 148 crore nett which is an easy target for RAID 2 now.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 8,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 11,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 28,50,00,000 apprx (4 Days)
TOTAL - 1,21,23,00,000 apprx
------------------------------------------
RAID 2 remained rock steady on its second Tuesday as it collected 4.25 crore nett which is a minor drop from the previous day which was a partial holiday. After the partial holiday on Monday and discounted rates on Tuesday, it will be Wednesday that will tell where the film stands on the weekdays of the second week.
RAID 2 is a HIT and has the chances to go higher if the next few days really hold up. The Wednesday collections will show a good hold compared to last week as that's when the collections got hit due to the Pakistan issue. The second week looks to be heading for a total of 39 crore nett depending on the drop on Wednesday.
The numbers on the third Friday will be crucial if the film is to have chances to reach the SUPER HIT mark. The target now will be to cover the business of SHAITAAN within three weeks and go from there. The Gujarat/Saurashtra belt has already covered the numbers of SHAITAAN though South India may fall short of SHAITAAN numbers.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Week One - 92,73,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 8,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 11,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 4,25,00,000 apprx

RAID 2 did very good business on its second Saturday as it collected 8 crore nett and regained some of its lost momentum due to the Pakistan conflict. The collections are still affected on Saturday as the collections in the northern circuits are not as they should be but rest seem to have minimal affect of the conflict as far as the Saturday numbers go.
The tensions seem to be easing and this should mean RAID 2 can get back to its normal trajectory. This will also come as a relief to the industry as a whole as there is a big struggle out there to get the public to the theatres and these sort of problems make it even tougher and could have led to postponements of films. The situation seems better but you can never be sure as it does not take much to flare up again.
RAID 2 has comfortably crossed the 100 crore nett mark and with Saturday getting this growth and tensions easing in the conflict it can now aim for that 150 crore nett again which looked a done deal on Monday and Tuesday. The business of the film is good all over with Mumbai circuit leading and it could be standing at 50 crore nett after two weeks. North India had gained good momentum last weekend but issues after made it tougher for the film in Delhi/UP and East Punjab.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.

RAID 2, which had seen a big drop in collections on Wednesday due to escalation in the conflict with Pakistan as the attention of the nation was there, saw collections come back on Thursday. The issue is still there but the hit in collections was not as much as Wednesday. The film picked up around 5 crore nett which means the film ended with an extended first week of 95 crore nett apprx.
The film has good numbers and has held up well but due to the Pakistan issue, there are less people going to cinemas and generally it will be the same with other leisure activities. Its unknown what shape this conflict will take place and the collections can be up and down depending on the news coming from the borders.
The film is trending like a HIT film and on Monday and Tuesday a figure similar to SHAITAAN looked pretty easy. But now, its about these external factors and how much of a dent will be made if any. Hopefully the film comes out with a good second weekend and cements its position as a HIT film though everything will be dependent on the news flow.
The eight day box office collections of RAID 2 are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 22,00,00,000 apprx

RAID 2 had a good second Friday as it collected 4.75 crore nett though collections should have been higher. However, the Pakistan conflict hit collections. The film should have gone past the Thursday number but evening and night show collections were not as good as they should have been and its not just places like Punjab and Rajasthan where the issue is bigger but other places as well.
BHOOL CHUK MAAF is lucky it did not make it to the theatres as its a film which would have mainly had collections in NCR and bigger centres of UP and Haryana and all these areas are affected. The film was not an opening film anyway and with low evening and night collections in NCR the film would have struggled to get even 2 crore nett up on the board.
RAID 2 now stands at close to 100 crore nett and it remains to be seen how it goes from here. The growth on Saturday may not be like it should be as evening and night shows get hit again. The film was cruising towards a HIT on Monday as that 140 crore nett plus looked easy but now its a bit of an unknown situation. It should still get there though its not known where this India Pak crisis will go. The film has found appreciation in all circuits but the final collections may not go as high as they looked like going on Monday or Tuesday.
The box office collections of RAID 2 till date are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 22,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 7,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 6,85,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
Week One - 94,75,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,75,00,000
TOTAL - 99,50,00,000 apprx

RAID 2 had a drop in collections on Wednesday as the attention of the nation was elsewhere with the Pakistan issue which erupted on Tuesday night. The collections did fall a bit as it collected 4.50 crore nett which is around 35% down; it was not because of the film but due to external factors. It was the case for all films. Not just films but generally footfalls in malls and other shopping areas would have also been down.
The film will go back today as this external factor becomes less of an issue unless something major happens again today. RAID 2 has almost 90 crore nett up in seven days and the extended first week will go to around 95 crore nett. The holds are there for the film though obviously a drop like this makes it look otherwise.
The film lost a bit of momentum on Wednesday but it will be a totally different story if things normalize a little and that momentum should return from today and go into the weekend which enable good collections. Obviously attention of the public is going to be elsewhere for the next few days but probably not to the level of Wednesday. So, RAID 2 can still put up strong numbers. It also shows how these external things affect the box office so much today compared to 5-10 years back as its all over the media to another level and the public is consumed by that.
The seven day box office collections of RAID 2 are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 22,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 7,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 6,85,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 89,75,00,000 apprx

RAID 2 had the second biggest first week of the year behind CHHAAVA. It edged past SIKANDAR which may not actually mean much due to the reception of that film but still had the Eid period which enabled some decent business initially.
RAID 2 also compares well with SHAITAAN which had collected 80 crore nett apprx over the first seven days though less than DRISHYAM 2 which managed to go over the 100 crore nett mark in its first week.
The business also has a better look compared to the same period last year as only two films managed to go over 50 crore nett in week one (FIGHTER and SHAITAAN) while there is five this year though taking out SKY FORCE which is not real. This means there are four which is still better than last year. The second half of 2024 saw better results and it remains to be seen what happens this year.
The top five first week collections of 2025 are as follows.
1. Chhaava - 2,10,59,00,000
2. Raid - 89,75,00,000 apprx
3. Sikandar - 86,18,00,000
4. Sky Force - 81,41,00,000
5. Jaat - 55,71,00,000

RAID 2 had a very good first day as it collected 19-19.50 crore nett on day one aided by superb collections in Mumbai circuit. The circuit will land up at around 8.50 crore nett which is excellent. The holiday is bigger in Maharashtra than other parts of the country which probably helped the collections. The holiday also seems bigger in Karnataka as Mysore has strong collections going over 1 crore nett.
The collections are lower in North but still both Delhi/UP and East Punjab have done well. The holiday is a minor one in central parts and yet, CP and CI have managed very good collections. These numbers are very good for a film which is not the initial type. Hence, to get this sort of number up on day one puts it on course for success.
RAID in 2018 had collected 9.50 crore nett and the sequel has basically doubled those collections. It can be said that it was a partial holiday but then on the other side business is not the same as it was in 2018 and basically these opening day numbers have established the franchise. The film has an extended four day weekend and is sure to do good numbers again over the weekend after a drop on Friday.
RAID 2 is the second biggest opening of year after CHHAAVA and if we take the 2024-2025 period, then it would be 6th counting original Hindi films only. The film also comfortably scores over other Ajay Devgn starrers like SHAITAAN and DRISHYAM 2, as far as initial is concerned. Again the film reiterates the sequel factor is here to stay for some time yet though it has to be right sequel and not any film can be picked up. There is no doubt films that were not liked will start getting sequels as its pretty clear sequels are getting numbers.
There was also another release THE BHOOTNII which could not do well and collected in the 50-60 lakh nett range and that too on a partial holiday. Hence, its a struggle for this film.
------------------------------------------------
RAID 2 collected 12-12.25 crore nett on day two which is a good collection. The film dropped 35% on the second day but a lot of this was was to do with the Maharashtra area which saw a bigger drop due to it being a big holiday in the state for Maharashtra Day. The other areas fell in the range of 25-30% which is a good hold with a Thursday release and a partial holiday.
The film has collected over 31 crore nett over the first two days and with the weekend to come its going to be a very good extended weekend for the film. As the film has got these sort of numbers up without the commercial elements, the job is done for the film. The film is doing good business all over and remains on course to become the second HIT film of 2025.
The film will have good growth on Saturday and most of the circuits should go back to day one levels or even higher but the all India number will depend on whether Mumbai also goes back to day one levels; here it will be tougher as day one in Mumbai saw a big number. The film is scoring well across the Hindi circuits be it CP, CI or Gujarat as the latter also saw a limited drop on day two.
The two day box office collections of film are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 31,40,00,000 apprx
------------------------------------------------
RAID 2 had a fantastic third day as it collected 18 crore nett apprx which is a 50% jump from the previous day. The collections are just a little less than the first day and that is mainly because it was a huge holiday in Maharashtra on the first day. The collections of the film have seen a very good jump in North as both Delhi/UP and East Punjab recorded their best days for this film. The collections in the latter were very good on Saturday considering the zone of the film and how the circuit is performing generally.
The film has now collected almost 50 crore nett in its first three days and its looking like a 70 crore nett plus extended which are big numbers for the film and practically ensure its HIT status though it will be Monday which will rubber stamp the same. The trend of the film suggests that it should hold well over the weekdays and a good Sunday jump can aid further.
RAID 2 has not got its day one numbers in Mumbai but it still it is doing very well in the circuit in both Maharashtra and Gujarat. SIKANDAR may not have done well but after that, the box office has been pretty kind to the Hindi film industry with decent performers in JAAT and KESARI CHAPTER 2. Now RAID 2 looking an outright winner.
The three day box office collections of film are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 49,40,00,000 apprx
------------------------------------------------
RAID 2 had an excellent extended weekend as it collected 71.50 crore nett over its first four days. The film opened well and then saw a strong jump on Saturday; this was consolidated on Sunday with another good jump. The film went up very well in all mass circuits on Sunday and collections were also at good levels be it Gujarat, CI or Rajasthan.
The surprise for the film is the East Punjab circuit as its a circuit which is struggling but RAID 2 has managed to put 6 crore nett which is superb for the film considering the zone of the film. A Punjab based KESARI CHAPTER 2 did a similar number over the whole week and here its come over the weekend. West Bengal is another circuit which may have not been expected to do well but is very good.
Generally, the film has done well in all circuits and going by the growth on Saturday and Sunday, the film has found appreciation. It will hold post the weekend and just remains to be seen at what levels. The film should emerge the second HIT film of 2025 and after DRISHYAM, SHAITAAN and now RAID 2, there is another production banner, Panorama Studios, quietly doing very well. The banner probably has the second best record post pandemic after Maddock Films.
The last month 3-4 weeks has also been good for the box office with JAAT, KESARI CHAPTER 2 and now RAID 2 with the three films likely to be in the 325 crore nett range between them. Its not a huge total but considering the films have come almost back to back and how difficult collections are to come by, its a good result.
The four day box office collections of RAID 2 are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 22,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 71,40,00,000 apprx
------------------------------------------------
RAID 2 picked up well in Overseas as it collected $1.60 million apprx. The film was released on Thursday which for a film like this is pretty much paid previews as the film could not even collect $175k but it did well on the main Fri - Sun weekend collecting $1.45 million. The collections in overseas are a little less than RAID (2018). But the trend in various markets could see the film eventually come out with a better final number.
The film collected best in US/Canada with $570k with Gulf also doing well with $500k while Australia was A$250k and United Kingdom final collections will be £125k apprx. Gulf is less than the first RAID but the other markets have done better especially Australia.
The worldwide collections for the film are 100 crore apprx worldwide for the extended weekend of 4 days. India has a gross of 86 crore apprx while overseas stands at 14 crore. The three day weekend worldwide is 72 crore which is the seventh highest ever for Ajay Devgn with TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR in sixth place with 82 crore and Drishyam 2 in fifth with 94 crore.
The Diwali 2025 release SINGHAM AGAIN is at top of the pile with 176 crore followed by GOLMAAL AGAIN at 134 crore.
------------------------------------------------
RAID 2 has emerged a HIT film as it sees a good hold on Monday. The weekend business pretty much ensured a HIT film but you always need that Monday confirmation that the film can run well post the weekend. RAID 2 collected 7 crore nett on Monday which is a good hold, dropping 45% drop from the Friday.
The Friday was the second day and it was a bit lower than it would been. Hence, the trend maybe a bit less than the 45% drop suggests but overall its strong enough hold for the film to have a good sustained run. The total of the film is 78.50 crore nett so far and will be looking to close out the week in the 95 crore nett range. The makers have ensured that the film will not be on discounted rates on Tuesday as there is no need as the film has worked and with discounted rates, you are consuming some of your audience without really getting benefit in terms of collections.
The film is doing well over in all circuits with Mumbai probably doing the best business as business is over 30 crore nett in four days aided by a strong number on day one due to the holiday and then a good strong trend in Gujarat.
The five day box office collections of RAID 2 are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 22,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 7,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 78,40,00,000 apprx
------------------------------------------------
RAID 2 held steady on Tuesday as it collected 6.75-7 crore nett taking its collections to 85 crore nett apprx. The collections were pretty much the same as Monday with some places actually being better. The hold came without the aid of the discounted rate which will be the scenario of most of the bigger films as far as the first week goes. The hold at the national chains was even better as they hardly saw a drop from the previous day.
The film has done very well up to now but there is a political scenario in India which erupted last night as India launched attacks into Pakistan occupied Kashmir and nobody know where this will lead to. This focuses the attention of the public on this and will likely lead to less attendance at cinemas. As a result, the film will see a fall in collections especially today as it will be in the news everywhere. This will affect all films but RAID 2 will feel the heat most as it has higher collections.
The film will see a drop in collections and then after a lot depends on this political scenario and how it plays but its likely the attention of the public will be elsewhere rather than films. If this confrontation escalates then its not just RAID 2 but decisions will have to be made on new releases. RAID 2 should still manage to reach the HIT mark but its a bit unknown now out there. The Monday and Tuesday trend is of a HIT film but let's see where it goes now.
The six day box office collections of RAID 2 are as follows.
Thursday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 12,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 18,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 22,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 7,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 6,85,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 85,25,00,000 apprx
