RAAZI had an excellent hold in week two as it dropped just 39% in week two which is a rare scenario. Its not as if the first week collections were 25-30 crore nett, they were a solid 56 crore nett. The second week has collected 34.25 crore nett taking its two week number to 90 crore nett plus. The second week figures were also the second best of the year after PADMAAVAT.

The film will cross 110 crore nett for sure and even 125 crore nett is possible if the drop today (third Friday) is like last week (second Friday). The difference between a NEERJA or QUEEN and a RAAZI is the difference in business in A centers like Jaipur, Lucknow, Surat etc. The film has grossed double the numbers of those films in most A centers. The film has done well in around 18-20 cities rather than the 5-6 cities where NEERJA and QUEEN did well.

The film has crossed the business of the runaway HIT of the year SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY in Mumbai in two weeks flat with a total of 31 crore nett whereas SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY did 30 crore nett in its whole run.

In Delhi/UP, RAAZI still has work to do to catch SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY as that film stands at 27.50 crore nett and RAAZI is at 21.50 crore nett. It should cross the 27.50 crore nett mark eventually.

RAAZI grossed 3.75 crore nett on Monday and continue to have very strong holds on the days when there can be noticeable drops. The film was superb on first Monday, second Friday and second Monday again when the drop could have come. It has dropped just 20% from Friday which itself had a strong number. The sort that female driven films struggle to get on day one.

The second week is heading for a huge 35 crore nett which will be the second best week two of the year after PADMAAVAT. It will easily clear 90 crore nett in two weeks and then that third Friday will give idea of lifetime business. If the holds continue this was then you cant even write of 125 crore nett for lifetime business.

The film is the third biggest hit of the year so far after PADMAAVAT and BAAGHI 2. This is for Hindi films only and not including AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. RAAZI has emerged a bigger Hit than SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY and will start crossing that film in some circuits by the end of the second week.

The film is now at 68 crore nett after nine days and the SUPER HIT film looks to be cruising towards a total of 100 crore nett and will go past the other major small - medium film success of the year SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY.

Despite being in its second week, it has better collections than DEADPOOL 2 on Saturday at many of the major A centres like Lucknow, Kanpur, Amritsar etc and should go further ahead on Sunday.

RAAZI had a huge hold on its second Friday as it collected around 4.50-4.75 crore nett and this is despite DEADPOOL 2 doing very well especially in the big centers where RAAZI is also doing its best business. The film is on course to cross 100 crore nett business.

The 100 crore nett mark is a bit irrelevant for most major films today but for this film its an achievement as its a small medium budget and on top it is a female driven film. Although there is some way to go to 100 crore nett its the strong trend that pretty much assures it will get there. The film has dropped under 10% on its second Friday from the Thursday which is rare

Even if RAAZI is judged from its hold from day one it is still extraordinary as the drop is just 38%. The growth over the second Saturday and Sunday will be huge and a 20 crore nett plus weekend should be on the cards.

The film is being driven by Mumbai and Delhi/UP as these two biggest circuits outperform. In UP its not far off from DEADPOOL 2 despite it being day 8 for RAAZI but that is mainly because DEADPOOL 2 has under performed in UP.
