Pushpa: The Rise - Part 01 collects 91.05 cr in 5 weeks in Hindi

PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) had another solid week collecting around 6.75 crore nett and taking its five week total to 91 crore nett. The film is certain to cross the 95 crore nett now and it remains to be seen if it can get to 100 crore nett. There is a big national holiday on Wednesday and that should give it a boost in collections.
The drop in week five is again under 50% and the business in Mumbai circuit is now comfortably over 40 crore nett. The film will now comfortably cross the business of SAAHO in Mumbai circuit but the difference is in the North where SAAHO did 35 crore nett more. A major reason for this is because PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 had a Telugu feel and look to it but SAAHO did not. Also, SAAHO had the plus of the BAAHUBALI factor as it was the same actor.
The crash of '83 has also aided PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) as there has been no film giving it competition and there are no new releases worth of any note also. The film will continue to notch up collections for sometime especially on weekends and holidays.

PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 is heading for a finish of 255-260 crore nett on all formats as its collections reach the 247 crore nett mark after its fifth weekend. This will make it fifth biggest film from the South after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION. BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING, 2.0 and SAAHO. The collections now are mainly coming from Hindi circuits and that has been the case from the fourth week onward. It will the highest grossing film in India since TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR.
In fact, in the fifth weekend around 60% of the all India numbers for this film which is basically a Telugu film were from Mumbai circuit. The performance of the film is pretty much similar to SAAHO where the Hindi circuits do well but the home market of Andhra does not. PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 can have an excuse of issues in the Andhra market regarding ticket prices and Covid-19 which was not there with SAAHO.
The film has done around 110 crore nett in Andhra and the run is practically finished while the expectation was 125 crore nett at the worst.

PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) is again heading towards the 100 crore nett mark as it scores another very good weekend of 4.50 crore nett. The drop from last weekend is under 50% and the total collections after the fifth weekend are 89 crore nett.
Normally a 100 crore nett total would be difficult from here but there is no competition at the moment and PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) can continue to hang around for some time. The film got an advantage of a holiday in Gujarat/Saurashtra on Friday. So collections did not jump much over the weekend. The jump came on Friday thanks to the huge business in Gujarat.
The Friday collections of the film were almost 60% higher than Thursday which really pushed the weekend numbers. The Gujarat/Saurashtra market continues to do outstanding business on holidays and Sundays and this market is like it was before the pandemic.

PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) continues with steady collections on its fifth Friday as it picks up 75 lakhs apprx to take its overall total to 84 crore nett. There is a 50% plus fall from last Friday but that is still solid trending. The film also saw a release on digital yesterday (Friday) but the collections remain pretty much unaffected as there was hardly much of a drop from Thursday.
The lack of new releases will also be a reason that the film continues to maintain collections. In places like CP Berar, Bihar, Odisha and Maharashtra, this is the only real option for the audience as the others have more or less finished their runs and there is no new content.
PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) is still on course for a 90 crore nett plus finish though is likely to fall short of the 100 crore nett mark.

PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) stands at 85 crore nett plus as the film recorded huge collections in Gujarat/Saurashtra which pushed its fifth Friday. It was a holiday in Gujarat/Saurashtra which gave the circuit a huge jump from Thursday. Not only was there a jump from Thursday, but the collections in Gujarat were also higher than last Friday.
It was a holiday for Makar Sankrathi in Gujarat/Saurashtra so it basically behaved like a Saturday. The film will be looking to do close to 20 crore nett business in Gujarat/Saurashtra in the final run which is a huge number. There is likely to be a drop on Saturday in Gujarat/Saurashtra which will mean less growth than normal but Sunday again should be strong.
PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) is looking to cross the 40 crore nett mark in Mumbai circuit now and it may do by the end of the week as the fifth Friday saw around 70% business come from Mumbai circuit.
