SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY collected extraordinarily well in its third week with figures of 15.75 crore nett which has taken its three week total to 88 crore nett. Its rare to use worlds like extraordinary for these type of film in the third week but SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY has just notched up the 15th highest third week collection of all time.

The figures are up there with films like DHOOM 3, CHENNAI EXPRESS, SULTAN and ROWDY RATHORE and these films are blockbuster star cast films. It remains to be seen if the film can hit 100 crore nett which will will a first for film of this size and cast.

The film has an outside chance of 100 crore nett because unlike HATE STORY 4 where RAID will take over its best centres. That might not be the case with SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY which is best in places like Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Chandigarh and these could be the under performing centers for RAID.

The film dropped around 38% in week two and is again looking at another drop of under 50% in week three. It will probably be 40-45% drop. The way the film is trending it is going to go to 100 crore nett or very close.

A similar budgeted film and driven by an actress like TUMHARI SULU did 33 crore nett which was Average business and this at 26 crore nett probable lifetime business is 20% plus less.

SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY had a super strong third Friday with another very limited drop from Thursday as it collected in the 1.75-2 crore nett range. The film is still the top film in multiplexes as HATE STORY 3 could not do much in multiplexes.

The film is on course to cross 90 crore nett and an outside chance of a century also which would be unbelievable and a rare BLOCKBUSTER status for a non cast film. This film going over 100 crore is probably a bigger feat than the big event films doing 300 crore plus but there is a long way to go for 100 crore yet.
