OMG 2 did very well in its second week collecting around 39 crore nett which is just 50% down from the first week. The total collections of the film are 117 crore nett in two weeks and it can still score well from here.

There is still an outside chance of the film crossing 150 crore nett mark. But it is very difficult as the there is a new Hindi release today and then JAWAN is there in a couple of weeks which makes a 3-4 week run at a good level collections difficult. The film is likely to face a drop in collections on its third Friday.

The film has fared well all over with healthy collections in the Hindi mass circuits. The film has yielded fantastic results but they have come in the shadow of GADAR 2 which makes it less noticeable.

OMG 2 collected 3.50 crore nett on its second Monday to take its overall total to 108 crore nett. The second week collections so far stand at around 30 crore nett and the film should do business of 39 crore nett in week two.

The film is looking at a drop of just 50% in week two despite week one having the holiday period over the weekdays. It is solid trending for the film though it faced competition from GADAR 2. The lifetime business of the film will depend on what happens this Friday as there is the new release DREAM GIRL 2 which is all set to open well at the multiplexes and cutting into the business of OMG 2.

The film will cross the numbers of GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI and TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR and it remains to be seen if it can catch the collections of ROCKY AUR RANI KII PREM KAHAANI.

OMG 2 performed very well in its second weekend collecting 26 crore nett plus which is only around 30% down from the last week  The ten day numbers of the film are over 100 crore nett at 104.50 crore nett and the film is a now a bonafide HIT.

The film has generally scored well all over though Mumbai circuit is a surprise as with this film it is outperforming compared to other films post the pandemic. This is without Gujarat being huge. This means Mumbai city and Pune have done very well on this film. GADAR 2 is insane everywhere but in North, Central and Gujarat, the monster is even more insane and it could be because of this that Mumbai looks better.

There are some cinemas in Mumbai city which have or eventually will collect more than GADAR 2. It will also beat the numbers of ROCKY AUR RANI KII PREM KAHAANI in many circuits like Rajasthan CI and maybe even East Punjab.

OMG 2 ended its first week with business of 78 crore nett as it took advantage of the holiday period and also managed to hold on well post the holidays. The collections on Thursday which was day seven were only 45% down on the first day. This has come with the competition of GADAR 2 and are huge results for the film.

The film will easily cross the business of OMG OH MY GOD's first part within 8 days though that was a 2012 release which is 11 years back. The film has been overshadowed by GADAR 2 but that is a phenomenal film and those type of films perform at a higher level post pandemic. It is actually the numbers of OMG 2 that is shows that the box office for Hindi films is now pretty much back to normal.

There is hardly any competition this week and the film is will sustain its run well over the next few weeks. The plus is that the film has put up decent numbers in places like Gujarat, CI and Rajasthan despite content which is probably more for the bigger urban centres.

OMG 2 has shown a superb hold on its second Friday as collections were a little better than the Thursday as it notched up 5.50 crore nett. This takes the total of the film to almost 84 crore nett and the film confirms its HIT status.  

The film still has plenty of gas left in the tank and will continue to do business for some weeks yet. Its lifetime will depend a lot on where the third Friday lands as DREAM GIRL 2 is a film which will be hoping to do well with a similar multiplex audience where OMG 2 has scored.

The film will get over the 125 crore nett mark but remains to be seen how much further it can go.
