Check out Aditya Roy Kapur-Katrina Kaif kiss on the sets of Fitoor in Srinagar

Katrina Kaif was spotted
running through the gardens of Srinagar's Nishat Bagh on
Friday. The impassioned dash ended with a kiss from Aditya Roy Kapur on
Sunday.
The lead pair of Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor shared a passionate lip lock on a rickety bridge over the Dal Lake on Sunday as curious locals living in the adjacent houses looked on in amazement. The twosome play Noor and Firdaus, the desi versions of Charles Dickens' star-crossed lovers Pip and Estella from Great Expectations.
Looking ethereal in white, the actress is met on the bridge by a lovelorn Aditya who kisses her after offering her the warmth of his shawl. The shoot was delayed for a few hours after unexpected snowfall on Sunday morning. It started around noon.
As the temperature plummeted below zero degrees, Aditya was spotted with a kangri (coal stove) in between takes while Katrina was surrounded by heaters. The scenes were shot near the floating markets of the Dal Lake. The unit had earlier shot in a house on its banks.
The arrival of Katrina on Thursday had created a buzz among the locals and she has been provided three-tier security by CRPF and J&K police during her four-day stay.
Nishat Bagh where she had shot earlier was closed to visitors but the Dal Lake shoot saw a large gathering. And apart from the police, locals too were hired for crowd control on Sunday.

Fire breaks out the day Katrina Kaif shoots for Fitoor at Nishat Bagh, Srinagar

Katrina Kaif who is in Srinagar for four days to shoot Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor has been provided with three-tier security. When she arrived at Nishat Bagh on Friday to start her first day of filming, the garden was swarming with CRPF personnel and members of J&K police. Regular vehicles were not allowed in but Katrina's car dropped her to the set erected in the lower half of the garden which is closed to tourists and locals. She was accompanied by AK-47 wielding personnel. The scene was Rekha's funeral which explained her all-white apparel.
The silence was broken with sudden shouts of "Fire, fire" around noon which caused panic among the cast and crew. The blaze started in a tent where the unit's production props are stored. With the temperature dipped to 5 degrees, the security guard had lit a small fire to keep himself warm. A spark burst into flames and engulfed the tent. Alerted by the commotion, the crew rushed to the spot. Katrina retreated to a tent which doubled as a vanity van. The fire was quickly doused and shooting resumed after half an hour.
Katrina's co-star, Rahul Bhat, a local boy was extremely concerned for her safety. Even Fitoor's leading man, Aditya Roy Kapur, dropped by to check on her after he heard about the fire though he was not shooting yesterday.
Fitoor is an Indianised adaptation of Charles Dicken's Great Expectations. Rekha and Aditya had shot in the valley in November-December but this is the first time Katrina is visiting Srinagar. She will shoot today and tomorrow, at Nishat Bagh and around the famous Dal Lake.

After Fitoor, another film unit has descended on the Valley. This time it is Vivek Agnihotri's Junooniyat starring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam.
On Wednesday, Mirror spotted the lead pair shooting a song in the picturesque Nishat Bagh. Yami was dressed in a midriff-baring white ensemble, hardly the kind of attire one would wear to venture out, as the temperature had plumetted to 1 degree Celsius.
She smiled for the camera but to avoid a freeze frame, literally, the actress was wrapped up in thick blankets as soon as the director shouted 'Cut'. But since she still shivered, hot water bottles and heaters were called to warm up the heroine.
The shoot continued way past sundown. By then most of the curious locals watching the shoot had drifted away to the the warmth of their homes.
But the crew stayed put, braving the fastdipping mercury, till they had canned their portions for the day.
Today the unit moves to the Dal Lake and from there the crew will move to Pahalgam and Gulmarg, before taking a flight out on December 7.

Rekha arrived in Srinagar on Thursday and was immediately introduced to two AK47-weilding commandos who were to become her constant companion till she left the city two days later.
The actress, who plays a character modelled on Charles Dicken's Miss Havisham in Fitoor, the Indianised version of Great Expectations, arrived at the city's picturesque Nishat Bagh on Friday at 9 am.
She was dressed in an ornate red wedding joda, with a cream sequinned dupatta covering her burgundy wig. Her lips were a slash of scarlet, a diamond stud sparkled on her nose and her eyes twinkled from behind designer glasses.
Definitely older but still as glamorous, Rekha garnered plenty of curiosity, with fans straining against the security who kept them at bay.
The local production house, which provides all the support for Bollywood shoots in Kashmir, made all the necessary arrangements for a smooth stint. The crew has been given two-tier security by CRPF and J&K Police. Tourists were stopped from entering the garden on the chilly, foggy day, as Madam X walked through the grounds streaked with red-and-gold autumnal leaves. Her cottage, though a set, mingled perfectly with the surrounding even as the mistress of the house stood apart.
Rekha shot through the day till 3.30 pm. She will leave the Valley today but the unit will stay back till December 4 and then return again in January.
