OCTOBER grossed 9.75 crore nett in its second week to take its total to 37.50 crore nett. The drop in week two is around 65% which is fair and a repeat of that in week three would easily take the film to 40 crore nett plus but it will be difficult due to the competition.

The collections of OCTOBER till date are as follows.
Week One - 27,75,00,000 apprx
Second Week- 9,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 37,50,00,000 apprx
--------------------------------
RAMPAGE grossed a decent 7.50 crore nett in week two to take its total to 26.25 crore nett. The film has done fair business and could another 1-2 crore nett..

This business of RAMPAGE till date is as follows.
Week One - 18,75,00,000
Second Week  - 7,50,00,000
TOTAL  - 26,25,00,000 apprx

The films released last week fared poorly with NANU KI JAANU grossing around 4.50 crore nett and BEYOND THE CLOUDS being a huge disaster with 1.60 crore nett apprx.
--------------------------------
OCTOBER managed to do some business despite the crazy of AVENGERS: INFITY WAR as it collected 1.75 crore nett apprx which takes its total to a little over 39 crore nett. There are some minor holidays in the weekdays which will take the film to 40 crore nett by the end of the week. the drop is 70% in the third week which is not too bad considering how huge AVENGERS: INFITY WAR is.

OCTOBER was still the highest collecting Hindi film as holdovers from last week NANU KI JAANU and BEYOND THE CLOUDS went down and the new release DAAS DEV collected around 1.50 crore nett over its first weekend.

The collections of OCTOBER till date are as follows.
Week One - 27,75,00,000 apprx
Week Two- 9,75,00,000 apprx
Friday - 35,00,000
Saturday - 65,00,000
Sunday - 75,00,000
Third Weekend - 1,75,00,000

NANU KI JAANU is very poor on Monday with just 40 lakhs nett and will gross around 4.25- 4.50 crore nett for the week. The only consolation is that it is much better than the competition film BEYOND THE CLOUDS.

The first four day collections of NANU KI JAANU are as follows.
Friday - 70,00,000
Saturday - 1,00,00,000
Sunday - 1,25,00,000
Monday - 40,00,000
TOTAL - 3,35,00,000

BEYOND THE CLOUDS is a huge box office disaster as first week collections head to a little over 1.50 crore nett. These sort of numbers were always a possibilty with an Iranian director who would have no understanding of the Hindi film audience.

The first four day numbers of BEYOND THE CLOUDS are as follows
Friday - 25,00,000
Saturday - 40,00,000
Sunday - 50,00,000
Monday - 15,00,000
TOTAL - 1,20,00,000

NANU KI JAANU has fared poorly over the first weekend with collections in the 3 crore nett. There is some growth on Saturday and Sunday but it was not enough. The film will probably see the week at low collections and that will be it.

The first two day collections of NANU KI JAANU are as follows.
Friday - 70,00,000
Saturday - 1,00,00,000
Sunday - 1,25,00,000
TOTAL - 2,95,00,000

BEYOND THE CLOUDS had a poor weekend of 1 crore nett and the trend was very poor for a very niche film which can easily double up or even treble on a Saturday especially when collections are so low.

The first weekend numbers of BEYOND THE CLOUDS is as follows
Friday - 25,00,000
Saturday - 40,00,000
Sunday - 50,00,000
TOTAL - 1,05,00,000

NANU KI JAANU is a poor fare although it showed growth of 80% on its second day. The collections of the film are far too low. It has managed to fare better than BEYOND THE CLOUDS but that is hardly any consolation as its still very bad.

The first two day collections of NANU KI JAANU are as follows.
Friday - 70,00,000
Saturday - 1,00,00,000
TOTAL - 1,95,00,000

BEYOND THE CLOUDS grossed 40 lakhs nett on its second day which is growth of around 60% which is irrelevant and the film is a huge disaster. The growth of such low opening numbers should be manifold just to have a chance to hold over the weekdays.

The first day two numbers of BEYOND THE CLOUDS is as follows
Friday - 25,00,000
Saturday - 40,00,000
TOTAL - 65,00,000

NANU KI JAANU had a very dull opening day as it collected 70-75 lakhs nett at the box office on day one. The film had a decent release reaching around 750 screens but the occupancy was very dull and even if growth comes on Saturday it will still be a struggle as on the weekday the occupancy is sure to be even less than Friday. The opening is comparative to the following films released this year. The number is the position they hold in 2018 for opening day.
13. Kaalakandi - 95,00,000
14. Mukkabaaz - 81,00,000
15. Nanu Ki Jaanu - 75,00,000 apprx
16. Welcome To New York - 67,00,000
17. Veerey Ki Wedding - 66,00,000

BEYOND THE CLOUDS was a very niche film and grossed only 25 lakhs nett on day one. The film is a total disaster but that is expected. It is a Hindi film directed by an Iranian director. The film is a drama on human relationships and they say emotions are universal which is true. But when a film is made there has to be certain treatment and presentation for the Indian audiences for the emotions to work and when most of the Hindi film directors do not get it right then its very unlikely that a foreigner will.

BEYOND THE CLOUDS is competing with the following films in terms of opening day numbers
17. 3 Storeys - 36,00,000
18. Beyond The Clouds - 25,00,000 apprx
19. Dil Junglee - 23,00,000
