MUBARAKAN managed to 12.50 crore nett in its second week which is actually better than TUBELIGHT which was a far bigger film but the overall total for the film is still a low 47.50 crore nett. Its decent to get 12.50 crore nett in week two against a big release like JAB HARRY MET SEJAL but the problem is you really can't cover the loss of the first week especially in terms of shares. The drop is 65% which is also a lot for a film which had a poor first week.

MUBARAKAN is remaining steady at low levels with 1.25-1.50 crore nett coming on its second Tuesday. The collections on the second Tuesday are higher than the second Friday. It is benefiting from the failure of JAB HARRY MET SEJAL and could be doing better business than that film on the coming Friday.

MUBARAKAN probably has a chance of 55 crore nett as its second week heads for around 12 crore nett plus. Its lifetime business depends on what it can put up against TOILET - EK PREM KATHA on Friday.  The collections of MUBARAKAN till date are as follows

MUBARAKAN did a decent number on its second Monday as its collections were very close to Sunday. It was a holiday for Raksha Bandhan but still it was a good result to be higher than Saturday and Friday. The film has found some appreciation in some areas but due to the initial the film has not really been able to collect numbers. It is best in places like Central India and Gujarat which is rare for a primarily North Indian film and that is what kept collections on the lower side. MUBARAKAN is sure to go over 50 crore nett which is a decent number considering the start it had but not for the film itself. The collections of MUBARAKAN till date are as follows

MUBARAKAN managed to show growth over the weekend after dropping on its eighth day. This was likely as the film jumped well on Saturday and Sunday last week. The drop for the second weekend is 72% which is not too bad considering competition from a Shah Rukh Khan film. It is basically holding collections at low levels but not really going anywhere. MUBARAKAN stands at around 41 crore nett in ten days and with a holiday today for Raksha Bandhan it has a chance of another decent number coming. Overall it will be looking around a 50 crore nett total or maybe can edge past it. HALF GIRLFRIEND grossed 52.25 crore nett and that is looking best case scenario here. MUBARAKAN fell badly on its eight day as collections were around 70-75% lower from from day one. This was always on the cards with the release of JAB HARRY MET SEJAL. MUBARAKAN will grow well on Saturday and Sunday but the Friday is so low that the growth will hardly translate into numbers. The film is probably looking at a finish of around 45-50 crore nett. LIPSTICK UNDER MY BURKHA has done reasonably well though it has not really gone through after the first week. A 40% drop in second week may look good but for this sort of very niche content which has some acceptance from the target audience, it should hold better. The competition in metros from JAB HARRY MET SEJAL has meant collections have gone down very badly in week three. Nevertheless the film is a plus commercially due to the low budget.
