MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT took its total to 76.50 crore nett plus to become the seventh highest NETT grossing film ever in India from Hollywood.  The weekend has seen a big drop of around 80% from last week and the final business will probably stay a little below 80 crore nett. The film has done better than DHADAK which was released one week before MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT.

It will be a shortened second week but the film is sure to cross the 76.50 crore nett of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON to become the seventh highest Hollywood NETT grosser of all time in India. The GROSS figures may stay below AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON but that depends on where the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT collections finish. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON had a GROSS of 105 crore and MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT stands at 95 crore after two weeks.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT added 1.75 crore nett on Monday to take its 11 day total to 69.25 crore nett and it seems to be heading for a total of 80 crore nett which would make it the seventh highest NETT grosser for Hollywood in India. The film is in eighth position at the moment after 11 days but it should be able to cross the 76 crore nett of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON though the 82 crore nett of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM may prove a step too far.

It will mean three of the top seven films will have releases this year which shows the numbers are getting bigger for the big Hollywood releases. There is still only two 100 crore films with AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR at a crazy 228 crore nett but generally 100 crore nett is proving difficult. This is because its mainly action films that do the business and they are generally front loaded and slow down fast especially when there is a flow of Hindi films week in week out.

The film was helped by the new Hindi releases being poor which ensured that FALLOUT was the first choice over the weekend. It will have a shortened third week due to the big releases holiday releases coming early but it should manage to cross 75 crore nett which would be around 40% better than the last film of the franchise.
