MALAAL collected very poorly in the first week with just 2.75 crore nett. Similar films like LOVEYATRI and NOTEBOOK were 11.14 crore nett and 3.91 crore nett in their respective first weeks. Also most of the 2.75 crore nett for MALAAL has come from Mumbai circuit due to a very Maharashtra feel to the film while other areas hardly have any footfalls.

ARTICLE 15 has had a steady second week as it collected around 18 crore nett. The drop is under 50% from the first week and this is good considering it probably lost around 1 crore nett due to the cricket. The film has collected 52 crore nett apprx so far and looks set to be a HIT as long as the third week does not drop heavily.

ARTICLE 15 should comfortably cross the 60 crore nett from this position.

The collections of ARTICLE 15 till date are as follows.
Week One - 33,74,00,000
Friday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 2,00,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 1,50,00,000 apprx

ARTICLE 15 continues to be steady at the box office as it added another 2 crore nett on its second Monday to take its total to 47.50 crore nett. The second week numbers look to be in the 18-19 crore nett range depending on what happens today (Tuesday) as there is the big cricket match with India playing in the semi finals.

The collections of ARTICLE 15 till date are as follows.
Week One - 33,74,00,000
Friday - 2,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 2,00,00,000 apprx
Second Week - 13,75,00,000 apprx (4 days)
TOTAL - 47,49,00,000 apprx

MALAAL dropped on Monday with 30 lakhs nett and will collect around 2.75 crore nett for the first week at best. The film is a bigger flop than the likes of NOTEBOOK and LOVEYATRI.

The collections of MALAAL for the first four days are as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 50,00,000 apprx

ARTICLE 15 recorded a good second weekend with figures around 11.75 crore nett which is a just a little over 40% down from the first weekend. The ten day figures are almost 46 crore nett and the film should emerge a HIT film although it has to get over the hurdle of a possibility of two big cricket matches.

The collections of ARTICLE 15 till date are as follows.
Week One - 33,74,00,000
Friday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 11,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 45,49,00,000 apprx

MALAAL had a very dull weekend of 1.75 crore nett apprx and the first day basically sealed its fate. There was some growth on Sunday but with Saturday not really going up the Sunday growth hardly mattered. The collections for the film are mainly from Mumbai circuit while in North there was no audience for this film.

The collections of MALAAL for the first three days are as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,70,00,000 apprx
