Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas to recreate their first date for one of their pre-wedding ceremonies?

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are all set to tie the knot on December 2 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. However, many people are unaware that although they publicly accepted their relationship only this year, they have been seeing each other since 2017.
A close friend of PC tells us, “The duo actually took a bit of time to know each other after they walked the red carpet at last year’s Met Gala. They stayed in touch and their relationship got serious only after they dated for a few months.”
Now, for one of the pre-wedding ceremonies, the jodi plans to recreate their first official date. “Both Priyanka and Nick wanted to start the new journey of their lives with a fond memory. They want it exactly the way it was — from the ambience to the food and the setting. While the couple will solemnise their marriage on December 2 in Jodhpur, before one of the other ceremonies (mehendi or sangeet), they will go on a similar date. Nickyanka (as they are popularly known) will also sport the same outfits that they had worn for the occasion,” adds another source.
Preparations for their D-Day are on in full swing in Jodhpur, with the Bajirao Mastani actress’ mother, Madhu Chopra, overseeing every detail. The haldi, mehendi and sangeet are scheduled from November 29 at the Mehrangarh Fort.
I don't dress up for you, I dress for myself-Deepika Padukone

Renuka Vyavahare (BOMBAY TIMES; May 7, 2017)
There's so much more to
Deepika Padukone than her ethereal good looks. While the actress has
been a trendsetter with her signature style - bright orange lips, puffed
pony hairdo and gothic nails - her style at international events hasn't
managed to achieve
similar feat. Be it her olivegreen skirt with a black, sequin bralette
at MTV EMA last year or her understated satin slip dress at Met Gala recently, it was all met with mixed response from
fashionistas and fans. But the stunner is unperturbed by the excessive
analysis of her outfits.
Recently at an event, when a barrage of questions was shot at her around the topic, she answered nonchalantly, “My focus is to feel good. Some may like what I wear, some may not. And it's perfectly okay. I am not dressing up for you, I am dressing for myself. The intention is to have fun.“
She elaborated, “It's a collective decision. My stylists and I work as a team. It's the same as a film, we work together to make a film and work together to create a look.“ Not the one to give her clothes undue attention, she reasoned, “I think there's too much focus on clothes. I think as a woman, I enjoy dressing up and the intention is to have fun. The clothes are exciting but there's more to an event than clothes! I have always looked at everything as an opportunity and what you make of it. It's not just about what you are wearing but having the privilege of being at an event like that. My focus is to feel good in what I wear and meet some interesting people, as those are the memories that last with you forever. The only time that I would be truly concerned about what I wear is if my mother or girlfriends give me flak for it. That's the only time I allow a comment to enter my life.“
Reminiscing the past 10 years of her life in showbiz, the actress, on an emotional note, said she is looking forward to achieve much more. “Sometimes when you feel everything is going great, something even better happens and that is what drives me. You can keep challenging yourself. It doesn't feel like it's been 10 years. There's so much more to do,“ she said.
However, her zen like demeanour soon turned a tad aggressive when she was questioned about being mistakenly addressed as Priyanka Chopra by foreign press. She said sternly, “It's not just about me being offended but everyone in this room should be offended. It's not just ignorance but also racist. Two people of similar colour are not the same people! You as fellow Indians should be calling them out and educating them.“
When BT asked her about her being referred to as a 'leggy brunette' by an international website when she was spotted with tennis ace Novak Djokovic, she added, “ignorance is ignorance.“

Priyanka Chopra's stylist Christina Ehrlich talks about actress' bold MET Gala outfit

Mohar Basu (MID-DAY; May 6, 2017)
In its fashion round-up of the MET Gala 2017, a leading LA daily described Priyanka Chopra's trench coat gown as the evening's most interesting choice. Back home, though, her stylish outing drew a mixed response. Trolls created dozens of memes centered on the 'longest' train on any red carpet; most were perhaps thanks to ignorance on the part of netizens, who didn't understand the gala theme — Commes des Garcons or in between.
In a chat with mid-day, PeeCee's stylist, Christina Ehrlich, explains, "The dress was conceived out of the idea of merging a piece that tied Commes de Garcons with Ralph Lauren, which was their iconic trench coat. We wanted the jewellery to feel a bit androgynous. Jennifer Fisher customised those pieces with the sensibility of ribbon-like movement that still felt tough."
The actress channeled her inner badass, with black boots, a messy top-knot and silver sculpted earrings complimenting the outfit.
Ask Christina if Priyanka expected the reactions that she got on social media and she says, "There is a lot of euphoria after a moment like this, particularly when you see the first image of her. We fit the dress first when she returned from India and everything was finalised over the weekend. With the drama of the train and knowing how Priyanka performs on the carpet, I knew there would be a lot of notice, but I was happy to see how well people received the overall look."
The stylist prefers to be oblivious to the trolling while PeeCee has taken it in her stride. "It's good to see your dress serve more purpose than fashion," she tweeted. But, hey, what happend to the train after Priyanka took it off for the after-party? "That's a secret for Sherlock [to unlock]," Christina quips.
