KI & KA had a huge fall in the third week due to the release of FAN. The fall was 90% apprx from the previous week. The business of KI & KA till date is as follows
Week One - 37,21,00,000
Week Two  - 12,45,00,000
Third Week- 1,25,00,000 apprx
Total - 50,91,00,000

Still the film has done pretty well with business of over 50 crore nett. The closing business of the film will be a little over 51 crore nett

KI & KA had a fair second weekend of around 8 crore nett which tales its total to 45 crore nett plus. The drop is around 68% from the first weekend which is bit better than the norm which is around 70%. The film also had to withstand the craze of THE JUNGLE BOOK especially on Saturday as Sunday as the strong word of mouth of that film spread all over..

The film should hit 50 crore nett now after the second week it will nearly be there and a couple more at least should come after the second week.

The new Hindi releases fared very poorly this week with Love Games maaging to gross 2.75 crore only and the likes of CLUB DANCER, HUM HAIN WONDER BOYS and THE BLUEBERRY HUNT registering practically no collections.

KI & KA held very well on Tuesday with a very limited drop of around 6-7%. The first five day business of KI & KA is as follows

Monday - 3,50,00,000
Tuesday - 3,25,00,000
Total - 31,75,00,000

The film should do a week of around 37 crore nett and now has a shot at a 50 crore nett after the business on Tuesday.

Ki & Ka had a decent first week of 37 crore nett apprx. The film had a slow start picking up on Friday evening, the growth was decent over the weekend though being an urban film it could have been stronger. The collections saw a normal 50% drop on Monday but then crucially held up pretty well thereafter.

The best collections are in Delhi NCR with area giving around 7.50 crore nett. The collections of the film are very similar to last year's BADLAPUR and so is the trend and that film grossed around 50 crore nett. Even territory figures are similar, the main difference being the the lead for KI & KA in Mysore.

The difference between the two films may turn out to be that BADLAPUR had around 4.50 crore nett business come in week 3 and after while here that will be near impossible with the release of FAN so if it is to reach 50 crore nett a lot will depend on where the eighth day lands

KI & KA had a decent Saturday though growth was limited for an urban content film. The first two day business of KI & KA is as follows

Saturday - 8,25,00,000
Total - 15,50,00,000

The film should be able to grow on Sunday but unless its huge growth which will signal strong weekday holds it will be down to where the film lands on a Monday.

KI & KA had a decent weekend though the trend was not great for a content urban film. A further push on Saturday would have benefited the film tremendously. It is the third highest weekend of 2016. The weekend business of KI & KA is as follows

Still even though the trend could have better, the weekend ensures it will be a decent runner unless collections come down a lot on Monday.

KI & KA managed to pick up in the evening in the evening to record collections of 7.25 crore nett apprx. The business is mainly limited to the main metros but these will be enough to pull the film through. The first day is higher than a similar film KAPOOR & SONS and the cost is also a couple of crores less.

The opening day means the film does not have to show huge growth of 50% plus on Saturday but still will have to show a solid upward trend because otherwise it will mean limited appreciation among the target audience which comes out in force on Saturday.

The two main circuits of Mumbai and Delhi/UP were best with the former at 2.25 crore nett apprx and the latter at around 1.60 crore nett. The business was dull across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and CP Berar and though the evenings were better, the overall collections remained poor.
