KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA collected 1-1.10 crore nett on Tuesday which is still not far off its Friday number though collections remain low. The collections did drop off a little from Monday as that Eid factor came out of play and the film may hold better on Wednesday.

The figures are low with the plus being that collections are not falling of a cliff which can happen for this type of action film as seen last week with RASHTRA KAVACH OM. Its really about the where the second Friday lands and it would have been good if it could have picked up 1 crore nett on second Friday but that seems unlikely now.

The first week will end at a little under 10 crore nett and the film can compete with the new releases in places like UP, CP, CI and Bihar in week two.

The collections of KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA till date are as follows.

Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 1,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 2,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 1,05,00,000 apprx

KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA had a good hold on Monday as it collected 1.25 crore nett which is similar to Friday and the final collections could be a little higher as mass pockets like UP could come in higher as many centres in the state are not much lower than Sunday. This can be due to post Eid.

This is all relative as the collections remain low but if it could maintain at this level on Friday then the film can come out with a decent result.

Last week the South film ROCKTERY: THE NAMBI EFFECT in Hindi also had a similar Monday trend at a lower level but eventually the film second week is dropping 25-30%. Here the advantage is a higher level of business than ROCKTERY: THE NAMBI EFFECT and its more broad based rather than a couple of cities. But the Monday numbers are likely to have some post Eid benefit as it has a good ratio of business coming from mass circuits.

The four day business of the film is around 7 crore nett and it remains to be seen how it goes from here. The Monday number gives it a chance of remaining in cinemas for a few weeks and as for its a business, a lot depends on the next few days and then that crucial second Friday.

The collections of KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA are as follows.

Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 1,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 2,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA collected a low 5.75 crore nett over the first weekend but it did show some solid growth for action film and the trend over the weekend is pretty good for the genre. Last week a similar film, RASHTRA KAVACH OM had released, but that did not have this sort of trajectory.

The big jump on Sunday could be due to Eid as likes of UP and Bihar have showed very strong gains. Irrespective of the trend, the collections remain low but if the film could get above the Friday number then maybe the film could have a run.

The collections of KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA are as follows.

Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 1,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 2,75,00,000 apprx

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER collected well again on Saturday as it picked up another 17 crore nett with collections gaining around 50% from Friday. There had been a drop on Friday but now collections are almost back to the day one levels.

The film would have been closer to the first day number were it not for Nizam/Andhra which is still heavily down from its first day. Mumbai circuit is better than the first day which is a plus for the film. The collections over the first three days are 47 crore nett and it should be a very good extended weekend of 65-70 crore nett for the film.

The three day numbers of THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER are as follows.

Thursday - 18,50,00,000 apprx

Friday - 11,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday 17,00,00,000 apprx

KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA also saw a jump on its second day as collections rose around 40-45%. Still the collections remain low and it has to hope that the collections on Monday are higher than Friday if the film is to survive.

The collections of KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA are as follows.

Friday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 1,75,00,000 apprx

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER saw a big drop in collections on the second day as the film collected 11.50 crore nett. A 25-30% drop was on the expected lines but here the drop is 35% plus as all circuits dropped for the film. Normally a film which opens like this, you would expected Sunday to come back to the first day levels but this looks hard now for THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER.

Still the film should get upward trend over the weekend and it will be a good weekend due to the opening day collections. The weekdays could be tougher but as long as there is no crash it will still be able to do business over the weekends. The two day collections of the film are good at 30 crore nett.

The two day numbers of THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER are as follows.

Thursday - 18,50,00,000

Friday - 11,50,00,000

KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER 2 - AGNI PARIKSHA opened to low collections of around 1.25 crore nett which is pretty much similar to last weeks RASHTRA KAVACH OM though collections in mass belts are lower than that film in places like UP, Bihar and Gujarat. Hence, the collections will probably be a few lakh less than RASHTRA KAVACH OM . The business is slightly better at multiplexes than the Aditya Roy Kapur starrer.

The first part of the film was an OTT film and so the branding is totally wrong to even think about a cinema release. Then on top, its an action film with little face value. The industry has to understand that streaming is basically television with another name simply because it is on television. Now you would never have though about bringing a second part of a television film or show to cinemas. So why an OTT film.
