KEDARNATH did well in its second week as it picked up 18.75 crore nett apprx. This takes the total business of the film to 61 crore nett. The drop in the second week is 55% which is very good trending though it will be stopped in its tracks by the release of ZERO.

The second week is better than films like VEERE DI WEDDING, PARMANU and PAD MAN. The film is at around 17.50 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and at around 14 crore nett in Delhi/UP. Generally all circuits have done decent be it Mumbai or Assam. It remains to be seen where the film goes as the screenings have dropped to 1 or 2 shows at the big multiplexes.

This will mean a second week better than films like VEERE DI WEDDING, DHADAK, PARMANU and PAD MAN. The collections of the film are pretty decent in all circuits. Even a circuit like Bihar will do around 2 crore nett business in the final run.

The lifetime of KEDARNATH depends on the screenings it gets on Friday. Normally a 70 crore nett total would be there but with ZERO and SIMMBA coming in the next two weeks it will not add much.

The week on week drop is looking to be 55% and this film could have gone to a 70 crore nett plus total if there were not back to back big films like ZERO and SIMMBA coming out over the next two weeks. The 55% weekly drop trend could go to 75% or even 80-90% in week three and week four.

KEDARNATH has held well in its second weekend with collections of 11.50 crore nett. The drop is less than 60% from the first weekend which is a solid trend. It takes the ten day total of the film to 53.50 crore nett and it will comfortably cross the 60 crore nett mark.

The film could even go past 60 crore nett by the end of the week and it should be able to add a little more post the release of ZERO. The film has done pretty well in most circuits though its Mumbai and Delhi/UP which lead. The collections in Mumbai are around 16 crore nett and Delhi/UP is around 12 crore nett over the first ten days.

The film is the highest grossing film of Sushant Singh Rajput already if we take out M S DHONI - THE UNTOLD STORY. The film has crossed the 46 crore nett of SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE which came in 2013. The film was generally not expected to do well but will end up doing decent business. If Monday and Tuesday can show decent figures it can get some screens post the release of ZERO.

The film is doing its best business in the Delhi NCR belt and is a surprise success of 2018. The film should show good growth over the weekend and have a decent second weekend.
