KABIR SINGH did phenomenally well in the third week especially if you factor in the cricket hit the film on more than one occasion through the week. The film collected around 35.50 crore nett to take its three week total to nearly 247 crore nett. The third week numbers are better than the likes of PADMAAVAT and SANJU.

This makes it the highest NETT grosser of the year in terms of Hindi films as it beats the 244 crore nett of URI. The third week collections were lower than URI which collected 37.06 crore nett in week three.

The drop in the third week is 54% as compared to the 41% drop in the second week. It had to drop in the same range as the second week to reach the 300 crore nett mark. If the film continues to drop around the 50% mark for the next few weeks then it will finish at around 275 crore nett though it will depend on how SUPER 30 affects the film today.

The film is now at 237 crore nett and should become the highest NETT grosser of the year by the end of the week as long as the cricket doesn't totally kill the business on Tuesday. The film is established so even if its gets hurt badly on Tuesday, it may be able to cover back some ground on Wednesday and Thursday.

The drop in the third week is heading to be around 55% compared to 41% in the second week and the fourth week will face competition from the Hrithik Roshan starrer SUPER 30 and the possibility of India being in the World Cup final on Sunday. These two scenarios probably mean a finish in the range of 270-275 crore nett. If the film had dropped like the second week in the third week also then there would have been a chance of a 300 crore nett plus total.

KABIR SINGH has recorded the fifth highest third weekend of all time behind BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION, DANGAL, PK and URI. The collections are better than the likes of SANJU and PADMAAVAT in the third weekend.

KABIR SINGH took its collection to 223.50 crore nett after 16 days as it collected 7 crore nett apprx on Saturday. The film is now the top grossing Hindi film in all circuits except Mumbai, East Punjab, Nizam/Andhra, Mysore and Tamil Nadu/Kerala.

This film has also gone ahead of the figures of AVENGERS: ENDGAME in CP Berar, CI and Bihar. The numbers in these circuits are just unthinkable for a Shahid Kapoor film as a Hindi film would normally need some star power to hit numbers like 13 crore nett in CP Berar and 9 crore nett in CI and still going strong.

The third weekend should comfortably cross the 20 crore nett mark and with India semi final match scheduled for Tuesday, the film could lose around 1 crore nett business on that day.

KABIR SINGH continued to so very well on its third Friday with business of 5.25 crore nett apprx. This takes the business of the film to 215 crore nett which makes it the 12th highest NETT grosser of all time. There is a 20% drop from Thursday for the film while the drop from last Friday is 55%.

This will mean that the third week trending will not be as strong as the second week especially as India will play a big cricket match on Tuesday or Thursday. The plus will be that KABIR SINGH will be down in the 3 crore nett or 4 crore nett levels at that time. So even if its a 50% hit by the match, the loss is 1.5-2 crore nett.

The film is now looking to do lifetime business of around 275 crore nett which would meant the ninth highest NETT grosser. If it can get above 282.50 crore nett then it would be the eighth highest NETT grosser ever.
