KABIR SINGH had another strong week with collections of 7.75 crore nett taking its total to 272 crore nett. The fifth week collections are the fifth highest of all time behind URI, BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION, 3 IDIOTS and DANGAL.

The film will finish with 275-280 crore nett and its coming with normal ticket rates which is not the case with other films which have done business in this range or higher. The footfalls of the film are higher than PADMAAVAT and not too far from SANJU. If this film had an ATP (Average Ticket Price) like some of the other films then 300 crore was done and maybe even 325 crore nett.

The flip side is that prior to release a Shahid Kapoor film was going to get higher ticket rates from the multiplexes and this was not a holiday release either so the business has to come on normal rates and the comparison with other films is the footfalls.

KABIR SINGH is holding well in its fifth week with as it has already picked up 6.25 crore nett and will probably go and do 7.50 crore nett. The fifth week business will be 5th or 6th highest higher with films like BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION, URI, 3 IDIOTS and DANGAL above it. All films which had super strong holds.

The film is sure to cross the 275 crore nett mark and will finish ninth on the all time list. In GROSS terms it will finish one place lower. The GROSS numbers of the film are over 300 crore and its the tenth film to go over the 300 crore mark.

It means 7 films have crossed 300 crore in NETT terms and 10 films have crossed 300 crore in GROSS numbers.

KABIR SINGH had another solid weekend with collections of 4.75 crore nett apprx in the fifth weekend. The drop is just 50% from last weekend which is good considering the two-fold competition of THE LION KING and SUPER 30.

The total of the film has gone to 269 crore nett and the film should cross 275 though the 280 crore nett mark will probably be out of reach. The fifth week business will be among the top ten of all time though that's not as good as the fourth week.

The fourth week was the third highest fourth week ever while the fifth week will probably have to settle for a place outside the top five. The footfalls of the film have crossed films like KICK and EK THA TIGER and are closing on in films like DABANGG and CHENNAI EXPRESS. It will be among the top twenty five most watched films in the theatres of the last 25 years.

KABIR SINGH continues to maintain its collections with around 0.90-1 crore nett coming on its fifth Friday. This takes the business of the film to 265 crore nett. The fifth week will also see the film among the highest collecting films of the fifth week.

The film has now crossed URI in Mumbai to become the top film of the year in all the circuits barring the southern circuits of Nizam/Andhra, Mysore and Tamil Nadu/Kerala. The film is way above URI in core Hindi markets as the film has done 20 crore nett more than URI on an all India basis till now but South is a huge 23 crore nett behind.

In Bihar, it will become the third highest NETT grosser ever which is unthinkable for a film without a big star (BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION  being the exception but is a different case altogether).
