JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM is a HIT film as it heads towards an extended first week total of 52-53 crore nett. This is similar to the lifetime totals of films like DEADPOOL 2 and BLACK PANTHER. The weekdays are holding up well for the film with Monday being around 40% down from Friday. The film will get hit with the release of RACE 3 on Friday but it will manage to get some screenings and will easily cross 60 crore nett and probably emerge as the 7th or 8th highest Hollywood grosser in India.

KAALA will suffer huge losses everywhere as collections dropped to low levels on Monday. It will close the first week out at around 90 crore nett plus but its lifetime business will not be much higher than the first week of KABALI, the last film Rajinikanth. The losses will be around 35-40 crore to distributors in South India.

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM looks set to emerge a HIT at the box office in India as it collected 37.25 crore nett over its extended weekend. The film did not release in Gujarat/Saurashtra on the first two days as the distributors wanted assurances of shows in week two when RACE 3 releases but these were not forthcoming and the film eventually released on Saturday.

The collections were very good on Saturday and Sunday and this trend will continue till RACE 3 releases and if any holdover release is going to collect when RACE 3 releases it will be JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM. The extended weekend collections of JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM are as follows.

KAALA has grossed 64.50 crore nett over its extended weekend which is a healthy total but it it way below the expecatations and distributors seem to be in trouble wherever the film released especially Nizam/Andhra which is looking a total write off.

The film has also not fared well in Overseas where Rajinikanth has a huge following be it US or the Far East countries. But the business is not up to the mark and it looks impossible it can get a 42 crore share overseas. The collections are far less than KABALI across the world.

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM is set to emerge a winner at the box office as the families flocked to it on Saturday and it recorded very strong collections of around 11.50 crore nett. The film has grossed 24 crore nett in its first three days which is not huge considering DEADPOOL 2 was more in 3 days but this film was released on Thursday for some reason when it was not even a holiday.

The only problem for the film is that RACE 3 will come next week and that will hit business and if the film does not become a HIT it will be because of that. The film is sure to sustain well over the weekdays.
