I LOVE NY is a disaster at the box officce with low collections and no weekend trend whatsoever. The opening weekend business of I Love NY is as follows.
Friday - 45,00,000
Saturday - 50,00,000
Sunday - 50,00,000
TOTAL - 1,45,00,000
HERO NAAM YAAD RAKHI (Punjabi) had a below par weekend with SARDAARJI running in third week doing just 15-20% less. The first weekend all India business of HERO NAAM YAAD RAKHI is as follows.
Friday - 55,00,000
Saturday - 55,00,000
Sunday - 65,00,000
TOTAL - 1,75,00,000

I Love NY had poor first day grossing around 40-50 lakhs nett. The film does not have much of a chance even if was to show big growth on Saturday.
BAAHUBALI (Hindi) managed to do decent business in Mumbai, CP Berar and CI but North and East India were dull. The first day collections were around 4.25 crore nett which is the highest for dubbed film from South India. But its the usual trend for dubbed films where Mumbai and Central India give them a chance compared to other circuits.
The collections in Mumbai were 2 crore nett plus while Delhi / UP was just 25% of Mumbai at 55 lakhs nett. A lot will depend if it can show good growth on Saturday but even if it was not it will still turn out to be a good one week filler before BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN especially in Mumbai CP Berar and CI.
The Punjabi film HERO NAAM YAAD RAKHI fared poorly grossing 55 lakhs nett all India.

BAAHUBALI (Hindi) did well on Saturday as it showed a good jump. The film will now become a rare success for a dubbed film from South India. The first two day business of BAAHUBALI (Hindi) is as follows.
Friday - 4,25,00,000
Saturday -6,25,00,000
TOTAL - 10,50,00,000
The business in North India us still low despite the healthy jump but Mumbai and Central India markers are doing well and that should be enough for this film. The Telugu version of the film which us also being screened in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune showed limited growth as that had opened to strong occupancies on Friday.
