HOUSEFULL 4 had a solid third week recording collections of 16 crore nett plus. This is best third week number for an Akshay Kumar film beating ROWDY RATHORE in 2012. The third week numbers are also better than GOLMAAL AGAIN which should mean that the film should cross the NETT numbers of GOLMAAL AGAIN and become the highest grossing comedy film ever in terms of NETT collections.

The film has collected 200 crore nett apprx in three weeks and is probably looking at a final total somewhere in the range of 205-210 crore nett which is an excellent final total as the film released pre Diwali when collections were not so strong. And then the media and trade tried their best to spread the word that its a bad film but the public saw the film in a different light and made it a big HIT.

HOUSEFULL 4 had a solid jump on Tuesday due to Guru Nanak Jayanti. The film collected around 2.50 crore nett taking the collections to 197 crore nett plus. The film will close the third week at 200 crore nett or at least very close to the mark.

The film has sustained very well at the box office considering the first weekend was hardly 50 crore nett due to pre Diwali. The film took off from Monday and there has been no looking back. It has done well over with Mysore and West Bengal being the weaker markets but this is normal for all mass comedies be it this franchise or the GOLMAAL and DHAMAAL franchises. The third week business of the film should be around the 16 crore nett mark.

HOUSEFULL 4 was very steady on its third Monday with collections hardly dropping 10% as it collected in the 1.75-1.95 crore nett range. This takes the total collections of the film to 195 crore nett with Mumbai circuit leading the way due to the business in Gujarat/Saurashtra.

HOUSEFULL 4 should get some benefit from Guru Nanak Jayanti on Tuesday but the business from Punjab and Delhi NCR was just 35 lakhs on Monday so it will not be a huge jump due to limited business in the areas where it is a big holiday. The third week is heading for a good collection of around 15 crore nett and is also on target to become the highest Akshay Kumar film in GROSS terms and the highest comedy in NETT terms. This will depend where the fourth Friday lands for the film.

HOUSEFULL 4 had a decent third weekend of 9.50 crore nett which is a drop of 70% from the last weekend but it was mainly because of a huge reduction in screens. The total of the film is now 194 crore nett which makes it the highest grossing Akshay Kumar film in terms of NETT gross.

The film is still super strong in Gujarat/Saurashtra as it was even matching the new release BALA at some theatres on Sunday despite being in third week. It will be third highest grosser ever in Gujarat after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and GOLMAAL AGAIN. The collections till date are 194 crore nett and will go over the 200 crore nett mark with the target being the 205 crore nett of GOLMAAL AGAIN as that would be make it the highest grossing comedy in NETT terms. It is easily the biggest film in the franchise as the last two films in the franchise did around 110 crore nett and this is a new level for the franchise.

HOUSEFULL 4 showed growth of 40% on Saturday and it should have been more but the film was hit by the Ayodhya ruling as those mass centres are among its better collecting areas. Also the likes of Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore which grow a lot on Saturday did not grow as they should as these are areas where the film is weakest. Still it is solid growth as it collects 2.75 crore nett and takes its total to over 189 crore nett.

HOUSEFULL 4 should become the highest Akshay Kumar NETT grosser either by the end of business today or sometime tomorrow.

HOUSEFULL 4 had a drop on its third Friday as it lost screens due to the release of BALA with 2 crore nett on its third Friday. But it still looks on course to become the highest comedy grosser in terms of NETT collections as 205 crore nett is in sight for the film if the normal Saturday and Sunday growth comes. The film did not grow as much as it should have last week but was coming off a holiday period and that is not the case here.

The film is a BLOCKBUSTER in Gujarat/Saurashtra as it continues with excellent business with 40 lakh coming on its third Friday which is 20% of its all India numbers when normally it is 10%. The film will become the highest NETT grosser of Akshay Kumar in the next few days as it beats the 192.7 crore nett of MISSION MANGAL. The GROSS numbers of MISSION MANGAL (226 crore) will be beaten today thanks to that huge business in Gujarat where there are higher taxes. The GROSS of 2.0 (Hindi) which is 239 crore will also be beaten once HOUSEFULL 4 hits 200 crore nett which will probably be next weekend. The film has a total of 186.50 crore nett plus till date.
