HONSLA RAKH maintained very well in the second week with collections of 5 crore nett which is a 60% drop with the first week having a major holiday on day one. The total collections of the film have now gone over 17.25 crore nett making it the highest Punjabi grosser post the pandemic. QISMAT 2 has finished with business of 17 crore nett.

The film is a BLOCKBUSTER and is likely to be the biggest Punjabi film post the pandemic. If the final worldwide collections do fall a few lakhs below CHAL MERA PUTT 2, it will mainly be as that film had a three day run before the pandemic.

The overseas business of the film is over $2.8 million in two weeks which will mean an worldwide gross of 42 crore in two weeks. The target in India is to cross to 20 crore nett and become the fourth film in history to achieve that and it will depend where the collections fall today (third Friday).

HONSLA RAKH had a very good second weekend with collections of 3 crore nett plus taking its running total to almost 15.50 crore nett in ten days. The film saw excellent growth in East Punjab on Sunday but Delhi city was probably held back by the cricket match on Sunday.

The second weekend business of the film is the highest post pandemic as it beat QISMAT 2 at 2.90 crore nett and CHAL MERA PUTT 2 at 3 crore nett. The third week will be crucial for the film if it is to reach the 20 crore nett mark as there will be limited business from Diwali onward due to the new releases.

HONSLA RAKH remained steady on day eight as it collected over 75 lakhs nett with a drop of 10% from the previous day. The film has now surpassed the 13 crore nett mark and will be looking at a total near the 16 crore nett mark at the the end of the weekend.

Honsla Rakh saw a release in Maharashtra in around 20 cinemas as theatres opened in the state but it was Delhi/UP where the film remained very strong and had collections which were in the same range as Thursday. The film is now approaching the 3.50 crore nett mark in Delhi/UP which is an ALL TIME RECORD in Delhi/UP for a Punjabi film.

The overseas collections of the film were a huge $1.83 million (INR 13.50 crore) in the first week which is almost as much as the lifetime business of BELLBOTTOM. The worldwide GROSS being 28 crore in week one.
