The film has also easily crossed 1921 which is similar film released earlier this year and normally on this weekday trend you would expect this film to add 6-7 crore nett more but this will be difficult. The reason being that centres that sustain well like a Delhi, Chandigarh or Noida among others are not collecting well. This will mean more than a respectable first week was needed.

The collections of SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY went up on its third Tuesday by 10-12% and are in the same range as its third Friday. The film has so far collected 85.50 crore nett in 19 days. The third week is now looking at around 16 crore nett and if the film shows a limited drop on Friday it will probably go and do 100 crore nett which will be a first for a small medium budget film. HATE STORY 4 had a fair collection on Tuesday of 1.75 crore nett. The film has crossed the business of 1921 released earlier this year in five days which was also a franchise film with the same target audience. The film will collect 18 crore nett in week one which is fair. But the problem is likely to be post the first week when it could struggle. HATE STORY 4 grossed 11.75 crore nett over its first weekend which is not too bad but there was not much a jump on Sunday which was crucial as the centers where it has a chance collect best on Sunday. This will probably make it tough for the film over the weekdays

HATE STORY 3 had grossed 23.71 crore nett in its first weekend while HATE STORY 2 was 13.81 crore nett so it is almost 20% short of the second film in the franchise and in terms of the HATE STORY brand it has taken a hit. The first weekend collections are as follows.

HATE STORY 4 managed to go up by around 20% which is not a lot but is pretty decent for this type of film which hardly has collections in the big multiplexes. The film collected 4 crore nett on Saturday and took its total to 7.25 crore nett.

The film could not open well barring a few places and that has cost the film as this sort of growth from a 4 crore nett plus number would have have put in a healthy position. Still the weekend is looking at respectable numbers for a film with this cast and cost. The first two day collections are as follows.

HATE STORY 4 had a so so opening day with collections in the 3.25-3.50 crore nett range. The collections are reasonable but because of the last film in the franchise doing so well, the expectations were for a higher opening day.

It does not always work that way though because HATE STORY 3 was more an aberration and not only difficult to repeat but even difficult get to close to as this franchise is not the type where the ante is upped with each film. It is still non cast with similar production values.

The film did well in places like UP and Bihar and normally you would expect these types to drop 10-15% on day two but this could edge up a little as the morning start in big city multiplexes was very low but it managed to make some headway by the end of the day.
