BANG BANG (hindi) grossed 21 crore nett approx in week two to take its two week business to 133.50 crore nett. The Tamil and Telugu versions will gross around 6 crore nett in terms of lifetime business which is well below what KRRISH 3 did last year.
The drop from the first seven days of last week is a huge 80%. The third week has continued the trend and seen another big drop. The film has not found any appreciation in mass centres with business in Gujarat, UP, Rajasthan, CP Berar, and CI being low. The business in Gujarat is not even average and due to this Mumbai circuit is struggling to hit even the 40 crore nett mark.
----------------------
HAIDER grossed around 10.50 crore nett taking its two week total to around 46.50 crore nett. The drop from the first seven days was around 68% which is reasonable. The film has not found much appreciation from the paying public apart from a small minority niche audience. The centres which are dominated by premium multiplexes have done better.
The best business is in the Delhi NCR area with Mumbai circuit being a let down by BANG BANG. There will not be much difference in the final business in Mumbai and Delhi/UP as Gujarat is very low and for good business in Mumbai circuit today, Gujarat has to perform.
HAIDER is probably looking at a 50 crore nett total at the end of the third week and not much will come after due to the release of HAPPY NEW YEAR.

BANG BANG had a poor second weekend grossing around 13.75 crore nett. The collections of the film have dropped badly in the second weekend. The daily second weekend figures are as follows.
Friday - 3,15,00,000
Saturday - 4,50,00,000
Sunday - 6,00,00,000
TOTAL - 13,65,00,000
The business crashed further in mass circuits as a circuit like Rajasthan could not even collect 1 crore nett in it second weekend. It was even worse in CP Berar and CI. Gujarat also continued its poor run. The film was somewhat better in the cities but that is not enough for a big budget film like BANG BANG. The film is looking at a lifetime total of around 140 crore nett.
------------------------
HAIDER has dropped in week two with collections around 7 crore nett. It is a low number for week two. The second weekend figures are as follows
Friday - 1,40,00,000
Saturday - 2,50,00,000
Sunday 3,25,00,000
TOTAL - 7,15,00,000
Overall the film is an average fair which is set to do lifetime business of around 50 crore nett. The business outside Delhi city, Mumbai city and Bangalore to an extent is a disappointment.

BANG BANG (Hindi) dropped badly on its second Friday as it collected around 3-3.25 crore nett. the drop is a huge 85% from last Friday which was the second day of the film. The drop is huge despite no competition from the new releases.
The film will struggle to put up a strong second week total and the film is unlikely to hit the 150 crore nett. The cracks were there in the collections earlier but holidays in various parts of the country made the all India daily collections reasonable. The second weekend of the film is likely to be around the 13 crore nett mark.
-----------------------------
The collections of HAIDER came down a lot on its second Friday as it collected in the 1.35-1.45 crore nett region. The fall is around 80% from its first Friday which was the second day of release for the film..
HAIDER had held up well in the first seven days of release but the drop came on day eight and a further drop on day nine. This happened mainly as it only has an audience at premium multiplexes and the audience at other places has not appreciated it. The premium multiplexes of Delhi NCR have held pretty well and now are collecting more than BANG BANG when on day one the film had started at 70% lower than BANG BANG.
HAIDER should collect around 6-6.50 crore nett in its second weekend and lifetime business will find it hard to reach 50 Crore nett, probably falling a crore or two short.
