HIGHWAY dropped on day eight grossing around 70-75 lakhs nett. The drop came as it had the same target audience as the new release SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS. HIGHWAY was doing its best business in North and that's where SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS has its best numbers.

HIGHWAY will see a good jump on Saturday but its overall weekend growth is dependent on how SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS fares. If the latter is not up to the mark then the former will see more growth.

The total business in eight days is around 21.52 crore nett and the lifetime business of the film is looking to be in the 28-29 crore nett range.

Meanwhile, GUNDAY fell in week two collecting around 12.76 crore nett taking its two week total to around 70.81 crore nett. The drop at the start of week three is huge and the film is unlikley to add much more business.

GUNDAY grossed around 7.50 crore nett in its second weekend taking its ten day total to 65.50 crore nett. The film has seen a drop of around 80% in its second weekend which is slightly higher than the norm.

The overall business of the film is pretty good although it has not sustained that well from the good initial. But thanks to the good opening, the film took it is a good success. The business in second weekend was best in Delhi/UP as that circuit grossed around 1.65 crore nett.

The lifetime business of the film will cross 70 crore nett and but the 75 crore nett mark will depend on how the weekdays of the second weekend go and how much the third weekend can contribute.
