Guddu Rangeela collects 8.25 cr in Week 1; Second Hand Husband 2.75 cr

GUDDU RANGEELA and SECOND HAND HUSBAND flopped badly as the former grossed 8.25 crore nett and the former grossed 2.75 crore nett. GUDDU RANGEELA had best business in Delhi/UP while Second Hand Husband was best in East Punjab.

East Punjab was pretty good for SECOND HAND HUSBAND if looked at the rest of the country as more than 50% of its business came from the circuit but East Punjab is not going to save a Hindi film where Mumbai or Delhi/UP is a must.

GUDDU RANGEELA grossed three times as much as SECOND HAND HUSBAND but its losses will be as much as its costs are 80% higher. The film managed to gross around 2 crore nett in Delhi/UP which was by far its best circuit.

GUDDU RANGEELA went down badly on Monday confirming it's flop status. The first four day business of GUDDU RANGEELA is as follows.
Friday - 1,50,00,000
Saturday - 1,75,00,000
Sunday - 2,25,00,000
Monday - 75,00,000
TOTAL - 6,25,00,000

 was even worse with very low Monday numbers. The first four days of Second Hand Husband is as follows.
Friday - 55,00,000
Saturday - 60,00,000
Sunday - 75,00,000
Monday - 25,00,000
TOTAL - 2,15,00,000

GUDDU RANGEELA will gross a poor 8.25 crore nett in week one. The first five day business of GUDDU RANGEELA is as follows.

SECOND HAND HUSBAND has poor numbers and week one will be around 2.75 crore nett. The first five days of SECOND HAND HUSBAND is as follows.

GUDDU RANGEELA and SECOND HAND HUSBAND had low collections in their first weekends and the trend of both films was also poor. GUDDU RANGEELA grossed 5.25-5.50 crore nett and will be a heavy loser as it is totally dependent on Indian theatrical as there won't be much revenue coming from other sources. The film cost around 20 crore to market and release.

Its the same case for SECOND HAND HUSBAND which grossed 1.90-2 crore nett in its first weekend. The cost of SECOND HAND HUSBAND is around 10 crore to market and release.

The other release BEZUBAAN ISHQ was a total washout as its collections did not even reach 10 lakhs nett for the weekend.

The Punjabi film SARDAARJI is an All Time Blockbuster continuing it's extraordinary run with collection of over 1 crore nett on in its second Friday. The film will have crossed 20 crore nett by the end of its second week.

GUDDU RANGEELA remained flat at the box office on Saturday with limited growth. The first two day business of GUDDU RANGEELA is as follows.

Saturday -1,75,00,000
TOTAL - 3,25,00,000 

SECOND HAND HUSBAND was also poor failing to show ant worthwhile growth on Saturday. The first two days of SECOND HAND HUSBAND is as follows.
Friday - 55,00,000
Saturday - 60,00,000
TOTAL - 1,15,00,000

ABCD 2 is also running out if steam with business of 1 crore nett apprx on its third Friday. The film will cross 100 crore nett but will not be able to reach 110 crore nett.
