GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN was below the mark in week one as it fared poorly in most major cities. The film fared better in single screens in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and MP but most of these places are low grossing due to lower priced ticket rates. The first week collections were around 29.50 crore nett. The multiplexes in Delhi NCR and East Punjab were also below average and well short of Sunny Deol's last hit film YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA in 2011.

The film has fared better than SINGH SAAB THE GREAT but that won't be enough especially as second week sees two major releases in FITOOR and SANAM RE which have affected the screen count of GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN a lot..

The other release SANAM TERI KASAM fared poorly with collections around 7 crore nett. These types are mostly washouts on day one but SANAM TERI KASAM did manage to get some collections on the board on day one but could just not bulid on it. The growth was minimal on day two and that basically put an end to any little chance it had.

GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN managed to do fair business on Sunday.  The multiplex business was better on Sunday after low figures on Friday and Saturday. The weekend business of GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN is as follows

The film has fared better in mass pockets especially in UP, Bihar and MP. The film being Mumbai based has held back collections in Delhi NCR and East Punjab as normally Sunny Deol films out perform in these parts but this is not the case for GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN

GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN had a 50% drop on Monday which is a normal drop but the film needed a stronger hold on Monday. The daily four day business of GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN is as follows

TOTAL - 23,50,00,000

The film needed to be around the 4 crore nett mark rather than 3 crore nett on Monday as the weekend was on the lower side. The first week business will close around the 30 crore nett mark.

The film is heading for a 29.50-30 crore nett finish for the week but will face competition of two major releases in week two in the form of FITOOR and SANAM RE

GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN had limited growth on Saturday. The collections at multiplexes were better than the first day but it really needed to be a bigger jump at multiplexes. The daily business of GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN in the first two days is as follows

The other release SANAM TERI KASAM showed growth of around 20-25% with business of 1.25 crore nett and 2.25 crore nett lifetime business. The film had to double up if it was to go anywhere.

GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN grossed around 6.25 crore nett on day one. The film could not collect at much at multiplexes but was decent in B and C centre single screens especially in UP, Bihar and Central India markets. The problem is they don't contribute much to the box office and can't really take the film far so multiplexes have to improve.

The film will need a good rise in multiplexes on Saturday and Sunday. Basically the film has to be close to double digit numbers on Sunday but that won't be easy as its an action film and the growth for these is normally not very high.

SANAM TERI KASAM grossed around 0.75-1 crore nett which is not too bad as these type sometimes collect under 25 lakhs. The problem is it does not have the reports to double its collections up on Saturday which would actually give the film a chance.
