FUKREY 3 is doing reasonable business in the second week as it heads for a second week total of around 13.50-14 crore nett. The business on Monday has come down but its put up reasonable numbers over the weekend

The business of the film till date is 74 crore nett and its looking a lifetime closure of 85 crore nett which is a good result. The last installment did 78 crore nett but that film had a curtailed run due to the Christmas release TIGER ZINDA HAI. This basically had a better release date with a national holiday.

The problem for the film is Mumbai circuit which will probably due only 16-17 crore nett which is less than FUKREY RETURNS while most other circuits will get same or better collections. Mumbai is looking to finish 20% less than the FUKREY RETURNS.

FUKREY 3 has emerged a HIT as it has held pretty well on its second Friday with collections in the 2 crore nett range but appreciation is weaker compared to the last film as that had a stronger trend until it was stopped with the release of TIGER ZINDA HAI. The business of the film till date is 65 crore nett plus.

The franchise itself is probably at a dead end unless there can be some star value in the film as this is about it with a cast like this. The film probably needs a star face to go forward as there is not much you can do as far upping the production and scale of content like this. Its probably in a bit better position as a franchise than DREAM GIRL as there is scope with some star value.

The film continues to do well in North India with the contribution from Delhi/UP and East Punjab being 50% of the all India business while its the dull business in Mumbai which is kept the film in check and putting up a very good number. The film will surpass or equal the business of FUKREY RETURNS in most of the circuits except Mumbai which will have a noticeable gap.
